Chapter 1

Paris POV

Aww, my little Chihuahua is so cute. I needed to go to the grocery store, and pick up some things for me and the puppy.

I walked to the store, it was across the street, and tied Biscut to a pole so he wouldn't run away. As I was in the store I seen Jasmine running, and she seen me and ran straight towards me.

"Where's your handsome dad at?" I said bouncing her. I didn't notice August standing there, he just smiled. I blushed, and Jasmine smiled, showing nothing but her gums.

"Um, here you go!" I said to August. "No you're alright, ma its cool." He said. We walked around talking, and I found out that his wife died in a car crash, on their anniversary.

That's so sad, but its kind of good because he's available, but I'm not a hoe, lol. I went outside with my groceries, and looked for biscut but he wasn't out there.

Tears filled my eyes, then I felt some arms wrap around me. "What's wrong ma?" He said in a concerned voice. "Someone, took biscut!" I said teary eyed.

"You named your dog biscut?"he said smirking. "Shut up!" I said while giving him a little push. "Look, if you work for me full time, I'll buy you another biscut,alright?"

"Sure, I guess, but what about the kids?"

August POV

"My sister Lelani can watch em" I said, as I put my arms back around Paris. But she pushed me back, again. "Why you tryna play, hard to get?" I thought I said it in my head, but I guess I didn't.

"Because, I have a boyfriend!" She said. But I know she was lying, but I need to be able to trust, her to be sure she is the one.

Did Renae, send her in my direction, because she definitely reminds me of her, I to Jasmine as I watched Paris walk back across the street.
