STORYLINE !
Pearl Carter was the last person who feared the Peaky Blinders, or any street gangs, to be honest. It was as if she lived her rebel life through them. But, she feared her parents. Truth was when her brother went to the War, she became her parents' biggest disappointment, even though she had tried to make them proud. God knew she tried everything: graduating from nurse school, learning how to play piano, write, read. But, what the wanted really was to marry her. And, so she fled her hometown, Manchester. She left her family, the so known street gang with whom she was involved.
On a cold night of december, she arrived in Small Heath. A little city she quite heard of when she was in Manchester, and also the further one from where she used to live. She recalled the awful stories her father would tell about the place he grew up in, her mother would rant about how bad the place was. But, she didn't care. She knew it'd be the last place they'd think of. The flat cap men didn't frighten her, the Shelbys didn't either— but the Scuttlers finding her again did scare her, and she would do anything to not go back there, but falling in love wasn't in her plan.
Finn Shelby. Youngest of the family. How would she know he would end up being her greatest love?
