FLASH BACK (7TH GRADE):

anna's pov:

it feels like eva is drifting apart from me nowadays. she is always going outside, and never spends time with me. i wish she was like how she was when we first dated.

"hey eva!" i say enthusiastically, when she walks into the door. "hi anna,' she says, bluntly, hopping on the bed, next to me. i lay my head on eva's shoulder. and she turns her phone away from me, making me confused.

"why did you turn your phone away?" i ask. "because i need my privacy," she says. "oh, okay then" i say, wishing she could trust me.

and day by day, she would stop letting me lay on her shoulder. she would stop talking to me, and more.

"eva, we need to talk," i say, motioning her to come. "can you please try to be more nice and give me attention?" i ask her. "look anna, i don't think i want to do this anymore," she says. "what, no," she shakes her head. "anna, trust me, this is best for both of us," she says, leaving me crying.

a few days later she started dating conner, and rumors say they had sex. eva never wanted to have it with me, and now she wanted it with conner?
