Lately I've noticed a blossoming number of accounts that seem to either be a scammer or pedophile group, they often have random names (so far male names)
I recieved messages from: [John7090] who is now banned, I did not think to screenshot my messages from the user, so I'm using others to show what the user will basically ask.

The profiles and backgrounds will commonly be what is assumed to be stolen images of random people, I theorize that many are just picked off google.
If you tell them a state, city name, et cetra, they'll ask the country. I do not know from fristhand experience because I have at least a quarter of a braincell remaining
(I apoligize if this offends anyone who gave their city name or address to a random stranger on the internet, but to be fair you are probably kidnapped right now or shouldn't be online.)

The bio's for these people are short from what I've captured, short and suspicious for a middle aged adult on a site commonly used my teens and pre-teens.
The profiles they follow are often LGBTQ+ women from what I reviewed aswell, and they'll follow people with certain profile pictures that may suggest you are of a young age. Such an anime profile pictures, attractive female models, anything pink or brightly colored, or seemingly childish.
Don't get scared if you have a profile picture like these, there is no reason to, if a user contacts you in this manor, block them, and report the conversation, as asking personal information is against the rules of wattpad
