A silent sob tore from, Aviana, as she stood right in front of the white casket with gold trimming.

Her youngest, and only sister, laying in the case. Her face was all dolled up, makeup on her. Pink gloss to cover up her cold, blue lips.

Life was unfair to her. It was stripped from her too early. Ten years old. They do say the most beautiful flowers are always picked first.

Aviana couldn't understand, she didn't understand what could have caused this, or why anyone would want to hurt Sophia. An innocent soul, a beautiful girl who always made the days brighter. She didn't comprehend any of it, it just didn't make sense.

She stood by her sister for awhile, touching her cold hands. Her little nails with red nail polish still on it from when Aviana painted them just a few days ago.

A tear rolled from Aviana's face, dripping onto Sophias flowers she held in what looked like a tight grip.

She observed her nearly combed hair, her little nose, her shut eyelids.

Aviana wasn't ready to let go, she wasn't sure she'd ever be.
