Casey's P.O.V

With an open mouth, I try to catch the fry Jenna threw towards me. Instead, it falls on the bed, for the third time.

"You suck at this." She scowls at me.

I scoff, "Me? You're the loser. I get it every time Caleb throws it."

Caleb throws her a triumphant grin while Jenna rolls her eyes.

"Maybe now you guys can stop wasting food," Murphy mumbles, picking up the fry from beside me and popping it in his mouth.

All of us were in my dorm room. When I told them Willow was gone somewhere they jumped to the opportunity.

Elliot was here too, but he sulked away silently in the corner with his phone. He seemed to be doing that a lot nowadays.

As for the incident between me and Murphy, I haven't really spoken to him alone since. Whenever we're with the group like right now, we mostly just avoid each other.

Rowan suddenly throws the door open with a horrified look on his face. His eyes locked with mine and he holds the gaze until someone speaks up.

"You look like you've seen a ghost," Murphy raises both his eyebrows at him.

He takes a deep breath before closing the door behind him, "The killer is back."

"What?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

Realizing he was staring at me he coughs and looks away, "Didn't you all see the news just now? There's been another murder."

I notice Elliot dropping his phone and sitting up to listen in to our conversation, for the first time since he's been here.

"Who was it? I mean the victim." Jenna says.

"Some girl named Sofia Flores, she was around our age. She was killed last night." Rowan answers without missing a beat.

"How do we know it's the same person from last time?" I ask.

"Because after she was killed, her body was dumped into a bathtub in a pool of her own blood. And that's not it, her eyes were carved out and were floating on the tub with her. " He shudders at the memory.

I feel my heart stop. I considered the first time a coincidence. But this changes everything. How the fuck is this even possible?

"Wait, this seems familiar," Caleb speaks up, breaking me from my train of thought.

"Familiar? Who the fuck does that?" Jenna adds, with a disgusted look on her face.

"Yeah, it is familiar, specifically when you look at the details. She was choked to death while the murderer slit her wrists and other parts of her body. She slowly lost her blood and oxygen at the same time." Rowan says, looking at me.

My heart picks up once again because I know what he's trying to say.

Jenna looks at me with her jaw hanging open, "D-didn't we read something exactly like this-"

"In my diary, yes." I grit out, glaring at my hands.

Might as well before everyone starts pointing fingers at me.

"The first murder was something I wrote too, but when I saw it on the news I was hoping it was a coincidence. But now there's no doubt. Someone is taking my murders and turning them into reality."

"But how- what does this even mean?" Caleb wonders aloud.

Jenna scoffs, "It's obvious isn't it."
