neither of them couldn't speak a word, it was humiliating for taehyung, he never thought their friendship would vanished, atleast that was taehyung's oberservation
taehyung's phone rang, normally jennie would hold it for him when he's driving but jennie made none of those movements
taehyung kept motioning his hands to search, jennie noticed he had a hard time searching for his phone, without hesitating she took a grip of his phone and answered the call for him, putting it on speaker
when taehyung took a brief glanced at her, she had already looked away towards the car window and still holding his phone
"taehyung-ah?"
"'mom"
"how are you my my little squanky pumpkin"
"mom..."
"just kidding" she chuckled "how have you been?"
"well..."
he glanced at the girl beside him who was looking out throught the window, not minding their chitchat
"well?"
"been having a great time... i guess"
he finally caught her attention, they stared at each other for a second
"you guess?"
jennie looked away and coughed
"who was that?"
"uh..."
"hi Ms. Kim"
jennie suddenly replied out of the silence, taehyung was astonished at the sudden of her actions
"jane? is that you?"
"yes Ms. kim"
"hi darling, have you remembered that you can just call me auntie?"
"really? i dont remember" jennie chuckled
"you kiddo, anyways i'm surprised you're with taehyung at this moment, normally he wouldve been with his cousins"
"is that so?"
"mhm"
"um hey mom... i'm actually driving right now could we talk later afterwards?"
"oh! you could've said so, my apologies and sure, have fun with jane i love you"
"yeah bye mom i love you too"
jennie setted his phone down and continuously looked throught the window "thanks by the way" he gulped from the nervous that was still filling him in, jennie didn't gave a response
