"The number you have dialed is temporarily unavailable, please try again later."

Smoke came out of my chapped lips as I sighed out. The cold winter air isn't really helping with what I'm feeling right now. Am I actually getting stood up again this week? I know I'm unlucky in relationships but I didn't know I was this unlucky.

"Fuck this." I cursed under my breath and placed my phone inside my pocket.

The bell dinged as I opened the door to Drunk & Dazed, the local bar near our university campus. It's actually a pretty chill place during the weekdays but it's a totally different story during the weekends.

The familiar low red neon lighting was the first thing that welcomed my presence alongside with the smell of old wood and alcohol. The place wasn't really that full, there were a few people here and there that were seated across scattered tables. Most people who sat alone were in the booths down the corner and there were about three people seated on the stools in front of the bar.

I sat on my usual stool as the brunette raised his eyebrows at me.

"The usual?"

I nodded, putting both my arms on the counter and burying my head in both of them. He chuckled at my state as he started mixing Jack and Coke for me. It isn't that much of a drink, but it's something that I've grown to love drinking as a regular here.

"Thanks for the comfort Minho, I really appreciate it" I said sarcastically, lifting my head up to see him passing me my drink. A small scowl formed on my face as I see him smile wider from my statement.

I've known Minho ever since I got introduced to this place when I was a freshman. We've been able to bond through our mutual friend, Chan, my senior and the owner of this bar. Chan introduced me to him since they were friends and Minho worked part-time for the bar on Thursdays to Sundays.

"I didn't even say anything," he said with a teasing smile on his face. He leaned on the counter as he watch me take a sip from my drink, "Another blind date again?"

I eyed him, sighing for the nth time tonight. He pursed his lips and nodded knowing the answer from the look I gave him.

"Why don't you just stop going to these things?"

"I can't reject Yeonjun's offers though." I trailed off, making Minho roll his eyes at me.

He hummed, "That, or you're not over Hyunjin."

I shot him a glare before taking another sip of my drink.

"It's been a year Minho, I'm over that."

"You're over that, but you're not over him." I shook my head at his statement.

Of course, the whole Hyunjin thing had really hurt me. It took me a year to get over him and finally accept Yeonjun's request for me to go out on blind dates. I still remember the day that Hyunjin decided to walk out on the relationship we built for almost three years for someone that he just met in a club, the messy break-up left me drunkenly crying to Chan and Minho at the bar that night. The absolute kicker was my friends were friends with him too.
