Chapter Five

In 2004 in a hospital

In The Hallway
Tim impatiently walks around the waiting room when the doctor walks out.
"How is he?" Asked Tim, anxiously.
"He's stable right now, we got the bullet out, we casted his right arm but he still has four broken ribs. We also patched the belt marks on his back and covered the bruises on his arms, hands, neck and face. He also has oxygen on to help him breath, you can come see him if you like," Explained the doctor.
"Yeah I want to see him," Said Tim worried.
"Okay, follow me," Said the doctor.
They walk back to room 723 where Ty is laying in a hospital and Tim walks over beside him. Ty groggily wakes up.
"What happened?" Asked Ty in pain.
"Well I was going to ask you that," Said Tim, softly.
"Wade was mad that I was home," Said Ty in pain.
"So he shot you, beat you and buried you alive?" Asked Tim.
"Well, selling me didn't work so I guess he thought this would," Said Ty with a shrug.
"What do you mean sell you?" Asked Tim, confused.
"Nothing..." Said Ty, realizing what he said.
"Ty tell me what you're talking about," Said Tim, sternly.
"No, he'll kill me," Said Ty, scared.
"Who? Wade?" Asked Tim.
Ty nods fearfully.
"I won't let him hurt you I promise," Said Tim, reassuringly.
Ty looks scared and unsure.
Tim gently puts his hand on Ty's shoulder.
"He won't hurt you, I promise, I will protect you from him," Said Tim, Softly.
"Okay...He sold me to those people who had me for two and half years, He wanted to get rid of me...plus he got 14 grand for me," Said Ty, scared.
"He what?!" Said Tim shocked and pissed.
Ty jumps fearfully to the side away from Tim.
"Ty, Ty it's okay, I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at Wade," Said Tim, softly.
Suddenly Wade bursts into Ty's room and Tim steps in front of him and Ty.
"Get the hell out of my way!!" Yelled Wade, pissed.
"You're not going anywhere near him," Tim stated.
"The hell I'm not!" Wade Said trying to push past Tim.
Wade grabs Ty by his hospital gown.
"If you tell your mom what I did this last punishment will feel like a day in the park!" Wade threatened.
Suddenly Tim pulls Wade off of Ty.
"Get off him!" Yelled Tim.
Tim pushes Wade out of Ty's room.
"Help! I need security!" Yelled Tim.
Two security guards run over and grab Wade.

At The Police Station
A police officer takes Wade into a cell and Wade turns around yells.
"Hey! I get a phone call!" Yelled Wade

At The Hospital
Ty is laying fearfully in the hospital bed and Tim walks back in.
"He's gone Ty, you're safe," Said Tim, softly.
Ty relaxes a little.
"What did he say to you?" Asked Tim.
"Just that he'd kill if I told my mom..." Said Ty, sadly.
"Where is your mom?" Asked Tim.
"I don't know, she was here," Said Ty, unsure.

At The police station
Wade is standing in the cell when Lily walks back.
"You put my son in the hospital?!" Asked Lily, pissed.
"Baby, it was an accident, I just got a little angry that's all, but that won't happen again, I promise," Said Wade.
Lily still looks upset.
"Sweetheart I'm sorry...I just can't control my anger when I'm drinking you know that but I'll quit, I promise all you have to do is bail me out and then we can be a happy family," Begged Wade.
"Okay, but what about Ty?" Asked Lily, hopeful.
"I can work it out with Ty, I can and we can be family, come on please I love you Baby," Said Wade.
"I love you too," Said Lily with a smile

In The Hospital
Tim walks back into Ty's room.
"So I can't find your mom," Said Tim.
Tim looks up at Ty's bed and sees he's gone when a nurse walks in.
"Where did the kid go?" Asked Tim, worried.
"Some guy came and checked him out," Said the nurse.
"What?!" Said Tim, shocked and worried
