Riley Peters was convinced that Kate Schmidt was her soulmate. How could someone be that perfect? It wasn't a secret that Riley and Kate had been dating since freshman year and it wasn't a secret that they were completely and madly in love.
It was Kate that helped Riley feel more comfortable with herself and it was Kate that made living in Shadyside just a little bit better. Of course, Shadyside still had its downfalls. Like maybe a murderer in a skull mask that ended up being one of Riley's classmates. Something strange was starting to happen in Shadyside and it only got worse when the corpse of Ryan Torres started chasing the teens and trying to kill them. Riley didn't know if they would make it out alive, but the one thing she did know was that if she went down, Kate was not going with her.
Millie Fletcher was a loner. The only friend she had was the girl that worked across the food court from her in the mall. Heather. It wasn't like she didn't try to make friends. She joined the marching band in hopes of making friends with the same interests but it only resulted in a stupid schoolgirl crush on Simon Kalivoda. Of course the boy never noticed her. He always seemed to stick to his small group of friends.
Millie guessed she was lucky when the day after she narrowly escaped her death at the shadyside mall, Simon had approached her asking if she was ok. It seemed that he had always noticed her but just like her he didn't have the courage to actually approach her. Simon Kalivoda liked Millie Fletcher and it was no secret that she liked him back. But this was shadyside and everyone knew nothing good ever happened to shadysiders. So it wasn't a surprise when everything went to shit.

Ok so I'm really excited for this story because I loved the fear street trilogy! I'm doing all three movies! Act one is going to have a bit of a twist to it that I haven't seen any other stories do so I'm excited for it.
Act two of this book is going to be the longest because I have a lot of things planned(mostly angst) and for that I need to start at the first day of camp but everything is going to connect back to act one with all the characters!
