Camp Campbell...Here i am

{Esthers P.O.V}

I felt my anxiety hit me while I look out the window, I was on a bus...my dad told me I'm going somewhere where he's not welcome (Who do you think her dad is? 🤨)
As the bus came to a stop I saw A tall guy and some kid with a blue hoodie
"so your 18...and your going to camp?" asked the driver
"yeah..weird isnt it?"
"It is weird, well....new kids here"
I saw the tall guy approach the bus and cleared his throat "HELLOOO! WELCOME TO CAMP CAMPBELL!" shouted the Tall man
"Yeah Yeah whatever" i replied while stepping out of the bus
"Woah, Your cool, whats your name?" asked the kid
"Esther.."
"Cool im max"
"Nice name, sounds like a male stripper."
"male stripper...?"
"Woah slow down on that language." Said the man
"Well I'm just gonna ask this, what's your name" I asked
"David! Your new co- Wait how old are you...?"
"18....why?"
"Just wondering, well let's go meet your other counselor!" Before I could even open my mouth I was already getting dragged
"Gwen! Meet our new camper!" Exclaimed David, I just stood there confused
"Another one? Oh great.."
"Uhm I'm Esther..." I said, kinda replying to Gwen I think
"Esther? Sounds familiar.."
"Familiar? How it's just a common name I was given"
"Fair. Just go look around I guess"
"Okay!"
That was a weird conversation....eh whatever I gue-
"ESTHER! WAIT UP!"
I turned around and saw max
"Oh hey max, you need somethin'?"
"Yeah follow me I want you to meet my friends"
"Alright then"
I did as what he said and we stopped in front of 2 kids
A blue haired girl and a brown haired boy
"Uhhhh hey I'm Esther" I said sounding a little nervous, isn't everyone nervous meeting new people? Just me? Okay then.
"Hi! Im Nikki and this is neil"
"Uh Nice name?"
"Thanks i like yours too!"
"Well I have to go now... Bye"
"Byeeeee!"
