The days go by and despite your hopes for progress you never showed any symptoms of being pregnant, no nausea, tiredness, or growing belly and thanks to your intrusive thoughts that you might have not ended up pregnant you ended up waiting a few extra weeks before building up enough courage to finally go visit the hospital with Xachery to get a clear answer...

"Are you ready y/n?" Xachery held your hand with a smile "kinda...im just a little anxious" he pulled you into a hug "dont be, no matter what happens I promise I'll be there for you" he said reassuringly.

You both left home and made it to the hospital rather fast, Xachery had to wait while the nurse took you away into a separate room for the ultrasound. The gel on your stomach felt cold but you were too nervous to notice "so...?" You tried asking to help the tension, the nurse moved the sensor around your stomach in silence for a moment more, you looked past her shoulder at the monitor and unfortunately couldn't see anything on the screen where the baby should have been..

Your heart sank immediately and you could feel tears welling up in your eyes when suddenly "there it is!" The nurse exclaimed with relief, your eyes shot up at the screen and there you could see the small dot that was your baby "sure is small" the nurse smiled at your happy and relieved expression "want me to go get dad?" She asked and you nodded trying to dry your eyes.

Xachery came in a few moments later going to your side quickly when he saw you crying, you were still all choked up and couldn't form the words so you pointed at the screen instead, he looked up and much to his surprise there was the baby "that...it's our..." he smiled uncontrollably and hugged you tightly, you hugged him back just was strong "its our baby!"

「After returning home」

You sat on your bed looking through the ultrasound pictures with Xachery "its so small" how could your heart be filled with so much joy looking at such a simple picture of such a small speck, the thought was kinda funny and you laughed quietly "Y/n" Xachery was holding one of the pictures with a faint smile as he gently set it down in the little pile of other photos "what is it?" You stopped leaning against him to see what was wrong. He chuckled softly as he suddenly hugged you "i just wanted to say...thank you, thank you so so much" he said in a whispery voice before placing a loving kiss on your lips "there's no need to thank me silly" you returned his kiss and spent the next few moments in eachothers warm embrace.

"We should start thinking of names!" You said excitedly "I know we have 9 months but I still want to be prepared" Xachery laughed "alright alright let's see I'm not good with names so don't make fun of me haha, how about Alina if it's a girl and Lucian if it's a boy?" He sounded a bit nervous or embarrassed you couldn't really tell "Are you sure you haven't been secretly thinking of baby names without me?" You say with a smug grin, Xachery flicked your nose hiding his guilty smile "hush"
