3 months pass
Its now been a year since McKeyla was first placed in the RAFT. Ever since McKeyla confessed to wanda why she didn't fight, wanda stopped visiting McKeyla
Today was a special day. It was McKeyla's 27th birthday
Guard: "Van Dyne you got a package"
McKeyla: "god can you stop calling me that. I've told you now a thousand times to stop calling me that"
Guard: " I have not"
The guard scoffs
McKeyla: "yes you have, ive kept tracked"
She holds a journal up
Guard:no one cares Van Dyne"
McKeyla opens the journal and clicks her pen. She draws a tally in the journal on a page
McKeyla: "1001 times"
Guard: "whatever, here"
He opens the cell window and hands her a package
McKeyla: "thanks i guess"
The guard walks away
McKeyla: "i never get packages...whats this about?
She places the box on her bed and rips the tape off
McKeyla: "a note and another box... hmm"
She picks it up and opens the letter
McKeyla: "dear McKeyla, happy birthday. I know you are probably wondering why im writing to you but trust me youll enjoy it...hopefully. I also know you probably dont want me to write to you but well here i am"
She continuous to read the letter
McKeyla: "once again happy 27th birthday little sis, love your older sister (sorry if that offends you)hope"
McKeyla: "well i was not expecting that..."
She puts the letter down and pulls out the small box. McKeyla opens the box and in the box there was a a camera
McKeyla: "a camera?"
She opens the camera and She read the date

McKeyla: "hope was 15 and this is a couple months after I ran away"
McKeyla plays the video

Hope:" its been a couple months since you ran away... im making this for you M so when we find it i can give it to you..."
She sighs
Hope: "happy 11th birthday M, i really miss you. Im still holding onto the fact we might find you. I'm sorry for everything. I proise that i will be a better older sister, once we find you again. Im so sorry. I'm sorry for everything I've done. Love you little sis"

Hope: "happy birthday M. happy 12th birthday... its been now a little over a year and we werent able to find you. Im still holding on hope that we will find you. I just want to make it up to you. I just want to have my little sister back. I guess this is going to be a regular thing now"
She smiles
Hope: "love you little sis"

Aside from that I just want to say happy birthday to my little sister and my best friend. I know our relationship hasn't been teh best throughout the years before you ran away but i hope we can fix that in the future. I rally missed you and had a hard time coping you running away but its nice knowing that you were still alive. Love you so much M"
The video ends and McKeyla stands there in shock
McKeyla: "s-she cared about me... s-she didnt give up hope even after 16 years i went missing..."
