Chapter Five: Charlotte Blanche

"Call me, Lance. As well."

He helped Odette throughout her pregnancy. Checking her up every month, telling her what to eat and what not to eat or drink. The empire went nuts, as Odette had saw it, over the fact she was with child. Emperor Hugo approached her when the rumors were proven right. He knew that the whole getting pregnant because she wanted to was bullshit.

He was disappointed of her but nonetheless she was like his sister so he supported her decision on keeping the child's father a secret from the public as well as the father. However Hugo warned Odette about keeping the child's existence and heritage from Claude because one way or another secrets will always be unfolded.

Odette knew that one day Claude will find out about the child but until then she'll try her hardest to be the best mother the child will have.

The pregnancy went smoothly and Odette's birthday on the 15the of September passed by then exalts 6 days later her water broke and a beautiful baby girl was introduced to the world.

The Emperor and Empress had their best and loyal nursed, maids and midwife. Doctor Lance was there to deliver the baby. The baby girl was a child with peach colored skin, Snow White hair and-

Jeweled Arctic/Sky Eyes. The very proof of Obelian Royal blood running through her veins. Hugo ordered a magician to build a certain accessory that would hide the jeweled eyes and turn it to normal blue eyes. A magician brought a necklace with a crystal in the shape of a swan. Successfully hiding the child's eyes.

On 21st of September, at midnight. Charlotte Blanche was introduced to the world.

Odette had never felt such deep emotion to a person ever since her parents. The moment the tiny bundle of joy was placed in her arms she knew that this child was all she needed. Never admitting to it but Charlotte's eyes were so beautiful she could get lost into them. It was true that at some point Odette had grew feelings with the Tyrant of an Emperor during their 'relationship'.

She had heard of the Tyrant that he killed all of his concubines in two years ago. the Ruby Palace on the day his daughter was born. The tyrant fell in love with a Dancer from Siodonna that when she died to give birth to their daughter, he ignored the existence of his child.

Odette knew she had to keep this baby girl safe and maybe one day when the Tyrant is no longer a threat to her, he'll know of his second child existence.

Hugo was honored to be Charlotte's godfather and so was Empress Marie. Their own child, a boy named Louise, became like siblings growing up. Odette loved being a mother even through the sleepless nights and exhausting hours of trying to put her child to sleep. She loved every second of it. Charlotte was a quiet baby unlike Crown Prince Louise. Yes she was fussy and demanded attention but she wasn't picky.

Growing up she was shy to others but was a butterfly to her family. Charlotte showed her own interest in dancing but not exactly ballet but ice skating. One time when Odette took her to watch a distant relative of hers performance, she fell in love with ice figure skating. It was beautiful and magical.

So from an early age Odette taught her the basics of ballet such as making her bones flexible and to soften her bones. With that-

7 years passed.
