Mrs. Weasley paid us a visit to our home. She brought fruits and vegetables for us. Severus prepared our lunch while I accompanied Mrs. Weasley to our baby's room.

"I can't wait for baby to come out!" She excitedly said.
I was startled when I felt a sudden pain in my stomach. It was excruciatingly painful, and I screamed out in agony. Mrs. Weasley yelled out Severus' name and he rushed over to us in an instant.
"Called a midwife." Mrs. Weasley said.
Severus left as soon as Mrs. Weasley said her words. Mrs. Weasley helped me along the way to get to my room. I couldn't bear it any longer. Severus and the midwife arrived shortly thereafter. Mrs. Weasley advised Severus to wait outside and before he left, he kissed my forehead.
SNAPE'S POV
I waited outside the room for almost 2 hours and still receive no words from them. Suddenly, I heard a knock on our door. I opened it and saw Minerva, Lupin, and his wife. They've heard the news that Adelia will give birth, and so they've come.
It was another hour before Mrs. Weasley and the midwife came out of the room. We thanked the midwife, and she went on her way after that. I ran into the room and saw Adelia with our son. She looked at me and smiled. I approached them and noticed how lovely our son is. He was a work of art, sleeping peacefully in his mother's arms. I clutched his tiny hands with teary eyes. Adelia gave him to me and it was the first time I held a child in my arms. My emotions are mixed now that I've become a father.
I'm going to love him forever.
ADELIA'S POV
I burst into tears of joy when I saw our son for the first time. I adore him as I hold him in my arms. His eyes and nose resemble those of his father, and his lips are mine. We were congratulated by Minerva, Lupin, and Tonks.
"What was his name?" Lupin asked.
"Alexander Colonel." I said as I looked Severus in the eyes with a smile. He was also a half-blood wizard like his father.
"That was beautiful." Minerva said.
Severus gave Alexander to Minerva and they were so happy to see him. Severus kissed my forehead and patted my head.
"You okay?" He asked. I nodded
"He was worth the pain." We smiled.

It was a week after, and everyone in the wizarding world had heard about it. Some wrote us a letter to congratulate us. Severus was preoccupied with taking care of Alex. He devoted all of his time to him and he didn't appear to be tired at all. There have been times when I have had sleepless nights and exhausting days, but whenever I saw them both, I was able to regain my strength.
I went into Alex's room and found him sleeping in his crib, alongside Severus on the sofa. I sat in the sofa chair and locked my gaze on him. He opened his eyes and saw me, then immediately closed them again.
"Why are you sleeping here?" I asked.
"I have to keep an eye on Alex." He said.
"I'll look after him instead." I stated, but he made no response. Rain falls unexpectedly.
I was going to get him a blanket, but as soon as I stood up, he grabbed my hand and said. "Stay." I smiled. I sat on his lap, leaning against his shoulder. He wrapped his warm hands around me and my hand. I closed my eyes and dozed off as well.
SNAPE'SPOV
I awaken from hunger and the first thing I saw was Adelia. She was sound asleep on my shoulder. I brush her hair away from her face and kiss her cheeks. She abruptly awakens and stands.
"Let's eat while Alex is sleeping." She suggested and we went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. We were in the midst of our meal when we heard Alex sobbing. I stand but am stopped by Adelia.
"I'll get him." She said and I nodded.

It was already 2:00 AM when I heard Alex crying. I immediately rose to my feet and made my way to the kitchen to start preparing his milk. I entered his room to feed him the milk I had prepared. He falls asleep after consuming one bottle. I returned to our room to sleep again.
"What happened?" Adelia wakes up.
"He's hungry." I said and I cuddled her.
TWOYEARS LATER
All of his firsts were witnessed by me and Adelia. In addition to his very first bath, he also took his first steps today and said his first word.
"Repeat it, Alex." Adelia said as they played with one of his favorite toys.
His first word was "Dad." I smiled, knowing he was referring to me.
"What about mom?" She asked but received no response from Alex.
"I guess mom was too challenging." I explained while Adelia was cleaning his toys, we moved to the sofa to feed him.
ADELIA'S POV
Alex was being fed by Severus, and he enjoys it every time he is with his father. They were comfortable talking and playing with one another. Seeing them fills me with joy.
