The priests poured milk with rose petals on Aryan who was sitting on a golden stool. They applied sandal paste on his entire body and washed it with water. They kept chanting mantras and applied a tilak on his forehead at the end. Vasanti wiped his body with a plain white cloth and she took him to his room. He wore a white vest and put on his sherwani.

He came into the hall and sat in front of a pillar. The priests again chanted mantras and tied a thread around that pillar. This ritual is known as Thamb Pooja. Thamb Pooja symbolically joins the foundation of the families of the bride and the groom. The priest from the groom's side ritualistically performs special prayers and pooja for the bride's home's foundational pillars by chanting mantras. 

~At Sanchi's side

She sat on a stool and Minakshi poured milk on her. Tanishka applied sandal paste on Sanchi's cheeks and again they gave her a ritualistic bath. Later, Minakshi and Sudeep performed Gharva. Marwari weddings are so closely associated with religious practices and hence special prayers are held for the wedding to go smoothly without any hassle. Gharva is one such ritualistic practice where Goddess Parvati is worshipped. An idol of the Goddess is carried to the bride's house and will adorn with clothes and jewellery sent by the groom's family. The ritual was done and Minakshi sent Sanchi to her room. Sanchi wiped her hair, wore her lehenga and pulled a veil upon her head. She sat silently on her bed when Shivangi entered her room

"Oyeeee kya hua?" Shivangi asked

"Kuch nahi," Sanchi said with a pale smile

"Yaar ab tu na mujhse jhooth na bol" Shivangi said

"Yaar mujhe bohot tension ho rahi hai kahi Ak-" Shivangi cuts

"Akshay ki tension mat le apne shaadi par dhyaan de aur kya ukhaad lega wo mai hi uski taange tod dungi agar kuch karne ki himmat bhi karega to ab tu na acche se naturally smile kar " Then they heard the sound of drums

"Baarat aa gayi!" Shivangi exclaimed and went downstairs

"Hey, Narayan kripa karke Akshay ko mere shaadi ke bare mein kuch pata mat chalne dijiye warna kahi aisa na ho ki wo mere parivar walo ko kuch kar de," Sanchi said in her mind and at the same time she started sweating and shivering badly. Soon baarat arrived and all members from Sanchi's side stood at the door. 

"Arey arey jiju aapko itni bhi kya jaldi hai andar jaane ki pehele aapko ek task poora karna padega" Shivangi said

"Kya task?" Aryan asked meanwhile Shivangi smirked and asked Aleya to get a plate. Aleya bought a plate covered with a cloth from above. Shivangi removed that cloth for a second and pulled it back on the plate.

"Bataiye plate mein kitne patthar the" Shivangi said.

"Wha- iSmE pAtThAr bHi ThE?" Aryan asked as he got no chance to see anything
