Before we begin, two things. One - this was suggested by SHIPPERSATTACK. Two - I'm not used to stuff like this so it's kinda gonna be all over the place but it kinda works since it shows Jevo's lack of patience.

I drove home from the hospital I worked at. It had been such a long day. I was mostly in charge of just checking in on patients and making sure their needs have been met.

Of course, this includes the children. I was fine with most the kids but there was this one that I just didn't like. It was a young orphaned boy named Toby who was blind.

His parents were killed after a robbery gone wrong. We were taking care of him til an orphanage could take him. He was a sweet and well mannered child but he had an imaginary friend called Jevo.

He'd always be talking to Jevo and asking him questions. Most were normal like "What's your favorite color?" and "Do you like puppies?" but then you had some that were just odd like "Do you feel pain?" and "Is Mommy and Daddy with you?" It was creepy. It doesn't help that according to Toby, Jevo apparently didn't like me.

Anyways, I'm home now. I grabbed something to eat and got ready to go to bed. I wasn't that tired so I called my best friend, Amber.

"Hi girl! How are you?" she said in her usual cheerful tone. "Tired." "So how was work?" "Okay, I guess but this one kid kinda creeps me out a bit. He has this imaginary friend named Jevo and he asks him the weirded things sometimes." "Sounds to me like he's heard the rumors." "What rumors?" I asked.

"Decades ago, a young male named Joseph Catalanello got into a car crash. Karen Dallas was the person in charge of taking care of him but she hated him merely because he was gay. Really, she hated all her patients and was just looking for an excuse to justify that. Because she didn't take care of him properly, he got worse and worse until one morning he passed away. Not even one week later, a father, his name unknown, and his daughter, Julian, also got in a car crash. The father was killed and the little girl was rushed to the hospital. She was given the same caretaker as Joseph and met the same fate. The morning after her death, Karen was found having been murdered. She had been cut apart and stitched back together with dark orange buttons sown into her eyes and her mouth stitched into a permanent smile. The killer was never found. The strange thing was the little girl was caught talking to a man she called Jevo on multiple occasions despite no one being there and she wasn't the only one. Multiple kids have been caught talking to Jevo. When asked to describe him, they always describe a man who is half blind with short black hair and brown eyes, the exact description of Joseph. Jevo loves the children and seems to follow orphaned kids the most giving them someone to talk to. Regardless what child it is, he will not tolerate any negative behavior towards them and won't hesitate to use violence to fix it. However, when a child he watches over dies, someone else is always found the next day having been cut and stitched with those same dark orange buttons in place of their eyes. Rumor has it, he's turning them into dolls for the dead children."

"Oh, creepy!" Amber laughed at that. I loved creepy things but I didn't understand why nobody told me if this supposedly happens at the hospital I work at. "So... You think he's just trying to scare me?" "Yup." "What parent in their right mind would let their child hear about something that dark!?"

We both just laughed. Neither of us believed in things like this though they made great stories. We talked a bit more before we said goodbye and I went to bed.

I snuck into the hospital and waited in a room no one ever went into. After a few hours, I went into one of the rooms where a young boy was fast asleep. "Twinkle twinkle little star! How they'll wonder where you are!" I sang as I grabbed my gun. "You will be with them so high! Are you ready my star to die! Twinkle twinkle little star! How they'll wonder where you are!"
