Pool Boy [Sunghoon]

The sound of the water.

Drop.

Drop.

The reflection of the water reflecting from above.

It was a peaceful night for Y/n to swim.

But there sat a lonely boy laying down the side of the pool.

It's as if his the only person on earth.

Y/n made her way to the pool quietly so she won't bother the boy.

The boy sighed and turn to look at Y/n.

"Did i bother him?" She thought.

He looks back at the ceiling once Y/n was in the water.

"Ok? Um is he ok?" She thought again.

She started swamming around the pool.

It was quiet you can only hear the water.

The two tried their best not to talk.

The boy touched the water slowly.

Y/n looks at his small details.

"His so handsome" She thought.

"You can stop staring" The boy softly said.

"Sorry" Y/n apologized.

Nothing happened after that.

Y/n just swam and immediately left after.

Everynight it's the same Y/n swimming and the boy is beside the pool.

Another night has begun.

Another peaceful night for Y/n to swim.

Unfortunately the boy is laying down on the side of the pool again.

This time Y/n was curious.

She made her way towards him and sat beside him.

"Are you always here?" She asked.

The boy hummed as a reply.

"I see, why though?" She asked again.

(Oh damn Y/n)

He sighed and sat down.

"I don't like the pool." He said which made Y/n confused.

"Why are you always by the pool when you hate it?" She asked.

"I hate the pool but i felt peace beside it"  He replied.

"I don't get it but ok" she thought.

"Why do you ask anyway it's not like we know each other" He said.

"I mean T-thats why i came to ask you because i want us to be close" She replied without 2nd thoughts.

He hummed.

"Sunghoon"

"Huh?" I asked.

"My name's Park Sunghoon" he said.

"L/n Y/n" i replied awkwardly.

He nodded and lay down again.

This was the night where a new friendship has begun.

"Sunghoonie!" I yelled out.

"Yah you burned the cookies!!" He yelled back.

"It wasn't my fault that you left them in the first place." I replied back.

Everyday was laughter.

Everyday is a nice day.

Not until...

"Sunghoon?" Y/n said as she stared at the body.

"No...please."

"Sunghoon yah! Wake up!" She shook him.

"Sunghoon i-"

"Ma'am please move aside we have to bring him to the hospital"

"No let me talk to him!" She said while crying.

It has been heared that Sunghoon drowned from the pool.

No sights of someone leaving the pool.

It must've been su1cid3 they say.

Well it's true.

Sunghoon has been hearing things such as

"Drown yourself"

"Don't be scared of the water"

"Come in your safe down here"

As if someone has been forcing him to drown himself.

"Sunghoonie please wake up let me say something to you" Y/n said.

"Sunghoonie please please!" She kept begging.

"Sunghoon please wake up" she cried.

"Sunghoon i love you!!" Was the last words Sunghoon heard before sleeping permanently.

It has been a month since the incident.

Y/n always visits his grave everyweek.

"Sunghoonie i adopted a dog" She smiled and puts down the dog beside the grave.

"I named it gaeul just like how you wanted your soon to be dog, it also has the same breed" she bittersweetly said.

Tears kept dropping.

"Why did you have to do that?"

"Why did you have to leave?"

"You promised me you'll stay with me til the end"

"You also promised that... You'll marry me..." She said.

"Remember that i will always love you"

She wiped her tears.

"Gaeul say goodbye to your papa" she said while picking up the dog.

"Sunghoonie goodbye" she smiled and walked away after saying those words.
