your character is an assassin and is hired by a gang to kill off their rivals leader. In order to do that they tell her to get close to him by dating him. After she successfully starts dating him she somehow traps and kills him.

Alt: once she gets close to him, she ends up falling in love and turning on the gang that hired her.
