BACKSTORY: Originally from Hawaii, Asuka surfed a lot with her older brother. She started at 10, eventually spanning out until 14 when her brother died from a rather brutal wave that submerged him in the water. She moved to Okinawa staying with some relatives, both herself and her parents blaming her for the loss of her brother. Asuka began skateboarding at the age of 15, somehow managing to be a decent student despite skipping out often just to skateboard. She joined 'S' a little way after it was founded, immediately amazed with the idea of competing with other people in skating- be it with street tactics or brute force, there were many different techniques when it came down to it. She's a decent skater, over time, she's managed to improve her skills to the point she can perform stunts on her board- from flips to mid-air spins. She's well-acquainted with Cherry and Joe, having only beat the two once or twice but never challenging them again from their sheer experience. She sustained a horrible injury however from ADAM- not heeding Joe and Cherry's warning about him and accepting his beef. But through one simple miscalculation, she ended up breaking her knee, temporarily retiring her from skateboarding. Asuka strives to be able to face ADAM once again and win.
APPEARANCE: (shes tan from living in Hawaii and has two cuts on her eyebrow- the exact image of a delinquent with her wild hair and tattoo as well as the multiple piercings. During her time in high school, she was told she'd have to dye her hair all black to keep up with the school's dress code and reputation. She agreed albeit stubbornly, though after graduating- she returned to her blonde highlights and began working at Sia La Luce.)
