Chapter 11~ Can't Let Go

Mason rushed to call for help. Erica was rushed to the nearest doctor.

It had been a few hours since Erica was in Labor. Mason was waiting outside the room to get any news from the Doctor. He couldn't stop thinking of the fight that had happened right before.

*I can't give up my child... I would never want our baby to go their entire life not knowing who their real parents are but~ I know Erica doesn't want this. She never wanted any of this. What do I do...* Mason kept thinking. 

The doctor walked out of the room and gave him the clear to head inside.

Erica was on the bed exhausted as she held their child for the 1st time. Mason's eyes lit up when he saw it. His child was finally here. Everything he wanted was about to become a reality. 

He went over to Erica and looked at his child for the 1st time. 

"So beautiful." 

Erica smiled and said.

" She is~"

"A girl?"

Erica nodded and leaned her head on his arm.

"She needs a name you know."

"I'll let you decide whichever name you think."

Erica looked down at her daughter and said,

"How about Tori?"

Mason began to smile as he went to go hold her.

"It's perfect. Everything is perfect~"

Mason held his daughter for the 1st time and looked at how amazing she was. She had pale skin and black hair with light red eyes. Part water and part dark she was so unique. She was too young to tell which primal source out ruled the other but Mason didn't care about that. He just loved how perfect she was.

She looked so peaceful in Mason's arms he never wanted to let her go. He wanted to protect her and guide her through life but what he said next was about to tear him apart.

"About what you suggested..."

Erica lifted her head up to look at him.

"I think we should let the family in Aquatica take her~"

Erica knew how heartbroken he was but she knew that this would be the best for both of them. She layed her hand on top of Tori and said,

"I think so too~"
