It was a normal sunny day outside in the bushes that day, the sun was shining in the corner of the open sky. There was a slight wind that passed through the trees, occasionally acting as music to the dancing flowers. But this day was like no other.
My thoughts weren't fully admiring the surroundings or the beautiful day, but what had happened the day before.

My mind was flooded with thoughts of his soft lips, his gentle touch. His messy hair and his eager heart. That was all I could think about.

I was oblivious to sounds of more berries being squished by harry on the other side of the bush garden, or the sounds of sam yelling at his twin. I couldn't hear the whistling wind or the splashing mud. Just the song that my heart was singing.

Because I was utterly and deeply in love.

Just like any other day at the farm me and the boys had decided to pick out more berries for the wine that we had to sell on the upcoming Friday. Sam had taken charge while the rest of us giggled our way through work while paddy chose to spend his time inside the house after his cow trauma.
I sat behind a bush gently plucking out berries from the various conjoined stems.

The berries were bright red, resembling my blushing cheeks. I smiled as I replayed the events of yesterday, the way he looked into my eyes as we sang, the way the two of us leaned in at the same time, the way the two of us were thinking exactly the same thing. It all made me smile.

But I wondered. I wondered if he liked me? If he loved me? That was sure a mystery. Yes maybe the fact that he attempted to kiss me two times could mean he liked me, or maybe that he was just too 'in the moment.' I was trying to find a signal, a sign that wasn't just a kiss, that told me that he liked me.

That he cared for me.

Or possibly even loved me.

I continued to run around with my thoughts while collecting the crimson fruits in the straw basket. I looked over at the other side and saw Tom smiling at me, his cheeks blushed as he picked out yet another berry from the bright green bush. He turned his head away still smiling as soon as he realised I had caught a glimpse of him. I blushed as well and my smile widened.
I looked over at him when I found him too occupied with the berries, a smile forming on my lips.

But the moment of admiring was soon interrupted as soon as I heard sounds of a heavy jeep park near the garden. I frowned at the direction where the sounds were coming from until I realised who it was.

↳ Tom's PoV

A confused look spread across my face as soon as I heard the sounds of a jeep park just outside the farmhouse garden. The jeep was bright green, it had no roof and a large open trunk at the back of it. There were two seats in the front and on the drivers seat sat a boy.

I didn't know him, and I hadn't seen him before.
The boy opened the door and jumped out of the heavy jeep. Smiling, he looked into y/n's direction and yelled "LOOK WHO'S HERE ROSEKI!"
My eyebrows furrowed deeper as I saw y/n's face light up, her smile brightened and her cheeks began to glow. Her eyes gave a happy glint as she got up from the warm grass, leaving her basket full of crimson berries toppled over on the ground.
She payed no attention to anything whatsoever and ran straight into the boy's arms.

She wrapped her arms around his waist as he did the same, squeezing her tightly and slightly picking her up.

Who was he? And why was y/n hugging him? Also what the fuck is roseki? Questions came flooding into my head as I exchanged looks with Harry and Sam. Both their eyebrows were furrowed as they observed the other two.

A slight rage filled my head, I didn't like that. I didn't like how he touched her, I didn't like how she ran into his arms. I didn't like how another guy made her happier.
