Monkey D. vs Mecha-Gorilla

GWAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

The mechanical Gorilla charged towards the newly founded group. Luffy barely managed to grab Nami and dodged the beast. His senses finally returning to him. Once the dust cloud cleared up he saw that everyone remained safe.

"We need a plan!" Aquilla shouted towards the other three Captains. They all ignored him however and dashed towards the enemy.

Jent slashed with his rapier, Lector uppercutted with his electric fist, while Luffy used his famous Gomu Gomu no Pistol. The three doing little to no effect.

"Stupid thing!" Lector screamed in anger. This time he powered up his fist with Armament Haki. He ran as the Gorilla sent a volley of missiles from its back. Lector jumped from rocket to rocket, finally coming into close range. As soon as he was about to punch it the Gorilla ducked its head, avoiding the hit.

"Clearly your fist aren't strong enough." Jent raised his rapier into the air. He murmured something in a different tongue. His blade immediately extended to about one hundred yards, piercing the chest.

The Gorilla didn't budge. Instead it grabbed the now extended blade and grabbed it. It began to spin, spinning Jent along with it.

"Let him go!" Luffy was running towards it. While it had been distracted he had started using one of his own famous techniques. "Gear Third!"

His right fist blew up to the size of a giant. It then turned black as he used Armament Hardening. "Gomu-Gomu-No, Elephant Gun!"

The force of the hit managed to knock down the gorilla onto the ground. It laid there, not moving an inch, or making a sound. The group approached the beast.

"Was that a Gorilla or a robot?" Lector asked.

"Who knows." Aquilla said. "But we should get out of here."

The entire group nodded. All but Nami began to walk away.

"Nami, why aren't you walking?" It was Luffy, who for some reason was still breathing heavily.

"Yeah, it's just... Never mind." As soon as she turned around the monster turned back on. It grabbed Nami with its giant hand, slowly beginning to crush her body.

"Let Nami go!" Luffy screamed but it was useless.

"Instead of screaming why not do something 'bout it." Lector was about to charge right at it before Aquilla stopped him.

"We need a plan not stupidity."

"Then what d'ya propose we do fish breathe?"

"I know what to do. I need you to distract it while Jent rescues the girl-"

"No! I'll rescue her!" Luffy argued.

"No. Your job is to beat that thing. Which I'll help you with."

Luffy was about to argue when Kendra told them to get back to their senses since Nami was almost unconscious.

Lector once more ran straight to it. He managed to get its attention. Jent meanwhile used his rapier to slice off the hand. He grabbed Nami and ran to a safe distance. At last, Aquilla harpooned Luffy straight up into the air. Up there Luffy once more used Gear Third.

"Armament Hardening Gomu-Gomu No Gatling Gun!" A barrage of black fist stormed down onto the gorilla.

Finally demolishing the monster. However, for some unknown reason, Luffy collapsed.

Luffy didn't know why he collapsed. But when he finally woke up... he didn't. Strange to explain, but he knew he could hear everyone talking, just couldn't see, move, or talk. At first he panicked. The idea of only seeing darkness. But that soon faded. For when he heard Nami's voice he calmed down.

"How long do you think he'll stay like that?" She asked someone in a worried voice.

"Not sure. He should have woken up by now." A weak, frail voice said. Probably that one fishwoman... Aquirra.

"But why did he just... collapse. It doesn't make sense." It was Nami again.

"Cause he's 'part of the Devil." Luffy knew that voice. That guy named Lector. "As I scraped its remains, I saw its armor made of sea-stone."

"That still doesn't explain why he's still unconscious!" Nami angrily said.

"Look, Nami, it's best if you rest. He'll be awake by morning." Another girl said. Probably Kendra.

"I can't sleep. Not when he's like this." Luffy heard Nami sniffle.

"You really care for him, don't you?"

"Of course. He's my Captain and Nakama. Why wouldn't I worry?"

"Because it's clear you have feelings for him." Jent said.

"And who made you the Love-Pirate?" Luffy heard Lector argue.

"Shut it you savage. Any man can tell that this girl loves the guy. Why, who knows."

"Pff, whateva."

"Nami, is it true you love him?" Kendra spoke again.

"I. I don't know." Luffy felt something inside him shatter into a million pieces.

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"I mean. I loved him two years ago. But that was a long time we didn't see each other. And-"

"Shh!" Luffy heard it came from Lector. "Something's rustling in the grass. Get ready."
