"So I, uh... Went on a date the other day. It's the first time in five years, you know? I'm sitting there at dinner... I didn't even know what to talk about." Joe said. "What did you talk about?" You asked. "Same old crap, you know? How things have changed, and... my job, his job... How much we miss the Mets. And then things get quiet... He cried as they were serving the salads." He said. "What about you?" Jim asked. "I cried... just before dessert. But I'm seeing him again tomorrow, so..." Joe said. "That's great. You did the hardest part. You took the jump, you didn't know where you were gonna come down. And that's it. That's those little brave baby steps we gotta take. To try and become whole again, try and find purpose. The world is in our hands. It's left to us guys, and we got to do something with it. Otherwise... Thanos should have killed all of us." You said.

"Yeah, we boarded that highly suspect warship Danvers pinged." Rocket said. "It was an infectious garbage scowl." Nebula said. "So, thanks for the hot tip." Rocket said sarcastically. "Well, you were closer." Carol said. "Yeah. And now we smell like garbage." Rocket said. "You get a reading on those tremors?" Natasha asked Okoye. "It was a mild subduction under the African plate." She answered.  "Do we have a visual? How are we handling it?" Natasha asked. "Nat, it's an earthquake under the ocean. We handle it by not handling it." She said. She looked at Carol. "Carol, are we seeing you here next month?" She asked. "Not likely." She said. "What, you gonna get another haircut?" Rocket asked. She turned to him. "Listen fur-face, I'm covering a lot of territory. The things that are happening on Earth, are happening everywhere, on thousands of planets." She pointed out.

"All right, all right, that's a good point. That's a good point." Rocket mumbled. "So you might not see me for a long time." Carol replied. "Alright. Uh, well. This channel is always active. So, if anything goes sideways... anyone's making trouble where they shouldn't... comes through me." Natasha said. "Okay." Rocket said. "Alright." Natasha said. The Avengers cut off their calls one by one. "Where are you?" Natasha asked. "Mexico. The Federales found a room full of bodies. Looks like a bunch of cartel guys. Never even had the chance to get their guns off." Rhodes informed. "It's probably a rival gang." Natasha said. "Except it isn't." Rhodes said. Nat realizes something. "It's definitely Barton. What he's done here, what he's been doing for the last few years... I mean, the scene that he left..." Nat starts to show signs of sadness as she gradually tears up. "I gotta tell you, there's a part of me that doesn't even want to find him." Rhodes admitted. In an abrupt moment of silence, she tries to chew her tears and emotional feelings as she eats a sandwich.

"Will you find out where he's going next?" Natasha asked. "Nat." Rhodes said pleadingly. "Please." She begs. He reluctantly agrees. "Okay." Then Rhodes cuts off. Nat starts to cry as she tries to hold back her tears miserably. "You know I'd offer to cook you dinner but you seem pretty miserable already." Out of nowhere, you slump over a bookshelf, in the same mood as you were in the therapy session, as Nat wipes off the tears off her face. "You here to do your laundry?" Natasha asked. "And to see a friend." You said. "Clearly, your friend is fine." Natasha said. "You know I saw a pod of whales when I was coming up the bridge." You said. "In the Hudson?" Natasha asked. "There's fewer ships, cleaner water." You added. "You know, if you're about to tell me to look on the bright side. Um... I'm about you to hit you in the head with a peanut butter sandwich." She jokingly smiles, as you do the same."Sorry. Force of habit." You sit down on another chair, opposite of Natasha. "You know, I keep telling everybody they should move on and... grow. Some do. But not us." You said.

"If I move on, who does this?" Natasha asked. "Maybe it doesn't need to be done." You said. "I used to have nothing. And then I got this. This job... this family. And I was... I was better because of it. And even though... they're gone... I'm still trying to be better." Natasha said. "I think we both need to get a life." You said. She smiles at you. "You first." She said. A camera footage pops up in front of them, showing Scott Lang with his Quantum Realm Van behind him. "Oh! Hi. Hi! Is anyone home? This is Scott Lang. We met a few years ago, at the airport? In Germany? I got really big, and I had my mask on. You wouldn't recognize me." Scott said. You stood up. "Is this an old message?" You asked. Natasha stands up too. "It's the front gate." She replied. "Ant-Man? Ant-Man, I know you know that. I need to talk to you guys." Scott said urgently.
