•8 year old Sykkuno's POV•

I was in my bed on my phone cause my mommy had trusted me with it and I was texting Rae until I got a call and it was from Corpse

I immediately started to feel butterflies in my stomach I had a crush on Corpse ever since we met when I was 4-5 I think

I answer putting him on speaker "Hai!" I smiled "Hey Sykkuno I was wondering if you wanna come over, I got some new games I bought and I wanted to play them with you" he said I got excited of course I wanted to!

"I'll love to Corpse" I said "Okay see you there Sy" after that I hanged up and got dressed

I went downstairs and ate something before I told my mom I'll be at Corpse's house

I was walking down the streets Corpse's house was right beside me but sometimes it feels like I'm so far away from him

I knock on his door and he immediately opens I smile at him

He greets me in and I look around and no one was home just me and...him

"Yeah my parents went on vacation and made me take care of the house for a week" Corpse says rubbing his neck nervously

"Oh well it's okay Umm do you wanna play a game?" I ask he frowns as he thinks and he probably got a idea of what to play cause he looks up to me with a smile

"Let's play hide and seek for a bit" he says "Okay I count and you'll hide" he says I nod and he covers his eyes while I run to hide

I looked around for a place to hide and he's almost reaching 20

I enter his room and decide to hide under his covers

"Ready or not here I come!" I hear him yell I started to giggle

I soon heard him coming near the room and I stay silent as I try not to laugh or giggle

I couldn't help but giggle I cover my eyes and I felt someone lift up the covers and cover my body again

I uncover my eyes to meet eyes with Corpse, I felt that funny feeling in my stomach again and I felt my breathing getting uneasy

"Found you" Corpse grinned but I couldn't help but smile

I uncover us and get up and avoided looking at him "Hey you okay your red?" He says lifting up my head our eyes meeting again

"Y-Yeah I'm fine" I say nervously and he smiles gosh I can't with his smile

He always makes me blush, always makes me have these funny feelings in my stomach every time I try to flirt it just comes out wrong and he just thinks I'm making a joke or something I always try to make my feelings obvious but I guess I have to try harder Ugh I'm so tired of doing this...

Maybe I should stop I don't care about him anyways right?

We were playing some board games when I see him have his stuff animal which was a cat

I try to grab it but he just pulls it away from me I frown "Corpse I was wondering if you wanna come to my house some day" I ask but I get no response

I sigh and go up to his room this feels like a routine

I love going to his room to sleep cause I get to smell his scent on his bed am I weird for that?

I rest there and take a small nap he doesn't care anyways it's just a play date...

I soon wake up I check the time I only slept for 20 minutes well I get up and go downstairs to see him still playing the board game he was playing 20 minutes ago

I sit next to him "Hey" he simply says wow just a 'hey' well what did I expect?

I kept on rambling about my day when I see him still playing was he even listening to me? Sometimes I wished I never cared...

A few years had past by I'm now 18 and so is Corpse

He still lives in the same house and so do I we talk to each other I hardly go to his house only to help him for homework but now that schools over I hardly see him

Currently me and Rae and Toast were getting ice cream when we saw Corpse with a girl and they were giggling...

I stood there in shock as Rae and Toast must have noticed

And the next thing I knew I saw the girl kiss him...

I ran out crying I sat on a bench and cried and Rae and Toast ran after me

"Hey hey Sykkuno it's okay" Rae rubbed my back "How is it Rae the person I've loved for years is with someone else!" I yelled tears in my eyes "Sometimes I even wonder why I fuckin care about him or why I still love him" I stood up and left to my house

sitting on my desk playing around with the ring Corpse had gave me for my birthday a promise ring

My tears were streaming down I felt pain in my heart I decided to walk to his house and tell him how I feel...we both promised to always tell each other everything here goes nothing

I walk up to his house and knock waiting for him to open

He soon opens and I look down "Hey Sy is everything alright?" He says softly I couldn't help but cry more I feel him wrap his arms around me for support but I back away I have to focus on why I came here for

"I have to tell you something I've been keeping for years and years" I say looking up to him he looks concerned he'll probably hate me after this

"What is it?" He asks I close my eyes and take a deep breath

"I like you more than a friend" I meet his eyes and they were wide and he stood there in shock?

I was confused and ready to be rejected when I felt him pull me closer

I Yelp but look at him "You like me I thought you'll never like someone like me" Corpse says "How couldn't I, your so special to me and I love you so much it hurts sometimes" I say

Before I could say anything else I felt his lips on mine I was shock but I kissed him back

I smiled into the kiss we soon parted and I looked in his eyes with a smile and he did the same, and he says something couldn't believe I would hear, "Sykkuno...will you be mine?"
