"So, I'm guessing Grace told you there's no way she's sitting this one out." Jen asked her sister as she and Grace joined the rest of them in planning.
"Pretty much. She's even got her own costume." Anissa said.
"And now so do you." Gambi said as he pulled out another watch and handed it to Anissa.
"Wait, how'd you make this so quickly?" Anissa asked as she took it.
"Actually, I gave Lyla the specs needed for you suit to go with your powers when I asked her to help make suits for your father and sister." Gambi said.
"And my R&D team, plus Cisco Ramon, decided to give it a few upgrades." Lyla said.
"Really, so how do I activate it, since I don't have electricity powers to charge the watch like dad and Jen do." Anissa said.
"Don't worry, we found a way to compensate for that. Your suit works with a sonic trigger, so try snapping your fingers when you're at high density." Gambi said.
"Okay." Anissa said as she took a deep breath and grinned, since she'd missed the feeling of having her powers and then snapped her fingers and sure enough, a suit came out of the watch, but not the one Anissa was expected, since purple light, similar to her shockwaves, was released and began to encompass her body before she found herself wearing a new, upgraded, purple version of her suit, with a new glowing T belt buckle.
"Okay, this is awesome." Anissa said.
"Yeah, when Cisco saw the plans for your suit, well, paraphrasing his words a bit, he said that the suit was way overdue for an upgrade." John said.
"Well, it's not like he was wrong." Anissa agreed.
"Anyways, can we get back to the mission?" Jefferson asked.
"Right, well based on the intel I've gotten from the recon troops I sent ahead, it would appear the Odell is tightening the Pit's defences, trying to keep anyone from entering. Though I highly doubt he's taken metahuman backup into account." Lyla said.
"He doesn't need to, he has Carson Williams, who's basically a meta chameleon. He can mimic the powers of any meta he encounters. He takes a serum that keeps him stable." Gambi said.
"I can handle him." Jefferson said.
"You sure you can handle him?" Lyla asked.
"Yeah pretty much. If I get Williams to copy my powers, then all I have to do is get him to use them, since unlike me, he has nothing to protect his nervous system from all the electricity coursing through it." Jefferson said.
"That's a good point. After all, that is how you beat Williams the first time around." Anissa said and Jefferson nodded.
"And I'm still tapped into the ASA's security feed, so we have eyes inside." Gambi said.
"So, what's our play?" John asked.
"We go in and hit them hard and fast, don't give them time to react." Jefferson said.
"I'm surprised we're not going for a more stealthy approach." Lynn said.
"There's no point since the ASA already knows we're coming. There's no point trying to be stealthy when the enemy knows you're coming." Jefferson said.
"And how do we know that they won't have power dampeners on?" John asked.
"They won't risk it since that would dampen Williams's powers too and take away their strongest asset since we took Grace from them." Gambi said.
"Except I wasn't the only meta the ASA was holding prisoner." Grace said.
"She's right, I'm detecting several energy signatures identical to those of the ASA's power dampening collars, along with their stasis pods." Gambi said.
"Then we divide and conquer. I'll send a team to extract those kids, though I think we'll leave the collars on until we're able to assure them that we mean them no harm." Lyla said.
"I think it would be best to get them to refrain from using their powers anyways, since right now, any metas the ASA created are unstable and using their powers will simply expedite their condition and I don't exactly have ready means to create the stabilization cure." Lynn said.
"What is it?" Lyla asked.
"The bone marrow from a madman named Tobias Whale and trust me, it is not possible to get it from him any time soon." Jefferson said.
"I think I may know someone who can find a better way to cure them anyways." John said.
"You really think Caitlin can pull that off?" Lyla asked.
"She's the best bioengineer on the planet, hell, she and Cisco actually created a cure for metahumans, so yeah, I think she can handle this." John said.
"Wait, what?" Lynn asked.
"Yeah, Caitlin and Cisco found a way to remove powers from metahumans permanently. Or at least metas created from dark matter energy." John told his sister.
"And here I thought that I was the best metahuman geneticist on the planet, it sounds like Caitlin is years ahead of me." Lynn said.
"I'm sure she'd still be willing to work with you." John said.
"Let's get back on mission. Grace, I want you to go with them, you know the facility better than any of us and your leopard senses make you a very ideal tracker in case the metas are being moved." Jefferson said, since Lyla had let him take the lead since this was his city and his enemy, she was just providing backup.
"What about the rest of us?" Anissa asked.
"Anissa, you're going to go with John and Lyla to capture Odell. Jen, you're with me, we're gonna deal with Williams and any other surprises Odell might have for us." Jefferson said.
"Once you clear a path, the rest of my agents will enter the facility and secure the labs, the detention level, the garage and the hangar. Once we're all clear, Mr. Gambi will trigger the Pit's self-destruct sequence, effectively wiping it and the ASA from the city." Lyla said.
"But the ASA has other bases all over the city." Jen pointed out.
"All of which are being raided by Argus as we speak." Lyla said.
"Okay then, we've gotta plan, let's do this." Jefferson said as they all nodded before heading out.
