               Neil bechara

Avni: Hello?

Avni snapped her fingers to fetch his attention.

Neil: Haan?

Avni : Haan kya? You wanna kidnap my dog or what? Aise kyun dekh rahe ho?

Neil: Aise matlab kya? He's looking at me.

She glanced at Tommy.

Avni: Oh are you, Tommy?

She added, as if he answered her.

Avni: No he's not. Stop scaring him.

Neil: I'm not scaring him. He is.. your creepy psychic dog..

Avni: Kya?

Neil shook his head off.

Neil: Anyway, you'll come right? Dekho, it should look as if mere kitchen mei khana bana hai. It shouldn't be clean. Warna usse doubt hoga..

Avni: Toh? Maar dalegi tumhe if you get food from outside?

He sighed, almost losing it. Avni could tell he was irritated so she just agreed to come and not mess with him anymore.

Avni: Okay fine. I'll come. Happy?

NEIL grinned and pulled both of her cheeks.

NEIL: Awww. You're an angel.

Although she reminded him, just to make sure because he tends to do it.

Avni: But it's not a date.

Neil scoffed, even though he was thinking it all along, he tried to make it sound stupid and inappropriate.

Neil: Pagal ho kya!! Kya baat kar rahi ho?

He tuts loudly,

Neil: Bilkul bhi nahi. Of course, I know it's not a date.

Avni: Good!

Well, yet again she cleared the air taking all the hopes away until not even a single thought remained to at least trick her on a date. Neil breathed, suddenly all the times she had turned him down flashed across his eyes and he wondered if she would ever be interested in him at all.

Avni: Neil?

Neil: Avni?

He said softly, looking at her face thinking if she was going to say something important but all she said was,

Avni: Date.

NEIL: Hmm?

Avni: You were on a date.

Finally he realised that he had left Ruby back in the coffee shop.

Neil: Oh shit!!

He rushed back to the coffee shop, saying.

Neil: I'll see you tonight.

Avni: Sure.

Avni had almost turned to walk back home and he screamed from afar.

Neil: And get a leash!

She screamed back,

Avni: He has a leash.

Neil: Then start using it.

Avni yelled again,

Avni: Shut up!

She heard him saying in a faded voice.

Neil: I love you too.

Avni: You idiot. I said, shut up.

Nothing came in response so she left.
