It's been weeks since Kageyama and his girlfriend broke up, you knew he was sad but he just didn't show it but regards that you were still there for him and you really tried your best to make him feel better. His ex girlfriend started going to school again but she's changed somehow

"Tobio-chan" you said as you ran up to him

"Hey" he said as he put down his phone

"What ya doin?" You asked

"I was just listening to music heh" he said

"ohhh what ya listening to?" you asked him as he looked at you

"Here" he said as he slowly took off one of his earbuds and handed it to you

"Omg is this apocalypse" you asked as he looked at you completely shocked

"You listen to CigarettesAfterSex?!" he ask In shock

"Y-yea heh it makes me feel relaxed" you laugh

"Yea haha it just brings back memories" he said nervously avoiding eye contact with you

You looked at him realizing that he's still upset about his break up, just looking at him being upset made you tear up a little

"No..no don't cry I didn't mean it like that" he said as he tried wiping your tears away

"It's just- you're stupid!! If you really still like her what's stopping you? it's obvious she hasn't moved on either" you said still tearing up

"I can't I don't have any feelings for her it's just I- well you know how me and you have gotten close it just reminds me of how she used to be I admit it I miss that feeling you know?" He said

"You miss that feeling?" You asked confused

"Yes you know, times like this where I give you one of my earphone I did the same with her. I'm not saying your remind of her it's just everything we do bring back those time I spent with her...how I once used to love her" he said as he looked down holding back his tears

"Well then try to be on good terms with her maybe y'all can,maybe go back to how y'all used to be" you said as you slowly pulled him into a hug and he finally let his tears fall

"You can always fix stuff, you know" you said as you cuffed his face and slowly wipe his tears

"It's not worth it she changed and not in a good way" he said as he slowly looked back up pulling you closer into a hug patting your head

"You never know until you try" you said pulling away from the hug and looked up to him

He chuckles "do you not realize that if I get back with her she won't let me spend time with you she despise you" he looked down at you making eye contact

"Well it doesn't matter weather we get to stay friends or not I hate seeing you like this and the fact that you don't let me in to help you..if she makes you that happy then be it" you said still making eye contact with him

"You think I'll choose her over you?" He said as he stepped away from the hug

"N-no but like you said she hates me so it'll be likely she won't let us hang out so" you said as you just stood there

He walks up to you and looks you in the eye

"Regardless if it got to the point where I have to choose I'll choose you... You know why?! Because you care for me it's been years that I had been with her yet she didn't show any interest in me nor show her love for me, unlike you I- I know we're just friends but you mean more to me more than she ever did so don't even say things like that!" He said as he grabbed your hand and drags you into school not letting go
