Jerome's POV

Every since prom me and Joy really hit it off. We've been spending a lot of time together such as going on dates, sitting in class together, watching movies-it's all to good.

Today we are going to go see the Lazarus Affect. Of course she picked the movie but I agreed with it.

At the theater, we were eating pop corn and holding hands...that was until a scary part came around and Joy jumped and covered her eyes.

"You okay?" I laughed a bit.
she turned toward me shaking.

"Y-yeah. I'm not scared" she said sarcastically.

"Well okay" I said and motioned for her to come closer and I wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

"You know I love you right?" She asked me.

"Yes. And I love you to Joyless" I said and kissed her nose...she blushed.

Nina's POV

The next morning, after I got ready for school, I met Eddie in my room so we could have that talk he wanted to give me.

"Nina, I'm so sorry about saying I love you, kissing you..." he began before I cut him off.

"Eddie I kissed you"

"No the time in the cellar. When I asked u to. I'm sorry. The truth is I do have feelings for you, but I also have them for Yacker. But it just kills me every time I see you with Fabian...kissing him, hugging him, and giggling with him. The truth is I love you Nina" he said with tears running down his face.
I was speechless. I couldn't possibly love him. I mean yeah I felt something between us but is it this? Is it this powerful love?

"Eddie I-I-I love Fabian more. I'm sorry but I'm not hurting him again. I love him" I said and walked out of the room and shut the door. I knew that I hurt him, and I knew that loved him but my feelings are more stronger for Fabian and I don't wanna ruin anymore relationships than I already have.

After I left the room I went down stairs to meet Fabian so we could walk to school together.

"Hey is everything okay?" He asked noticing my driftness.

"Yeah." I said and kissed him on the cheek.

"what was that more?" He smiled.

"For being my chosen one" I said and he smiled. I remembered the time he said that to me last term.

"Come on let's go" he suggested and took my hand and led me outside and into the school.

Later that day, after school, we went down into Cleopatras Tunnels to figure out who and where Ammit is.

"So who's Ammit?" Amber said. "is she like a love god?" Amber suggested excitedly.

"1. That's Isis Amber, and Ammit is a devourer. She is Anubis' pet. The Egyptians believed that once a pharaoh enters the afterlife that their heart is weighed on a scale against a feather. If their heart is lighter than a feather than that means they have lived a truthful life and they can enter the after life..." Fabian explained.

"What if they don't get to enter the afterlife?" Patricia asked.

"Then Ammit eats their heart." Fabian finished.

"Ewww. I hope Anubis gives her breath mints" Amber said an we all rolled our eyes.

"So anyways where is she? I mean isn't there supposed to be a statue of her next to Anubis?" I asked.

"Yeah. Do u think maybe she moved? Or someone moved her? Cause remember Nina you said u saw someone when that door shut" Fabian reminded me.

"Yeah." I said. "I don't know. Maybe that was Nothing."

"Maybe. But maybe it was and maybe it's that person Osiris said is after the necklace." Eddie suggested. Maybe I thought.

Later that night my thoughts filled my head.

"Sarah. Sarah" I said in my room as I woke up from a dream.

"Chosen one" someone appeared to me. "don't let her beat you" it was Cleopatra.

"Who is she?" I asked.

"Ammit. She is after my necklace. She lives in the house. She appears as human, but she's just an ordinary monster as she was created to be." she stated.

"What's her name?" I asked.
After I asked this I had flashbacks of Cleo:
"Hi I'm Cleo, nice to meet you." She
Said the day she came.

"Wow Nina I love your dress" she said the day of prom.
and then I had a flashback of the time
She kissed Fabian.

I looked back at Cleopatra as she disappeared and then I realized.
Cleo...Cleo-patra...Cleo is the one and I will stop at nothing to beat her to the necklace.

Okay so how was that? Really!? Good? Bad?
What about Cleo and how she is Ammit?
That's probably weird right.
Well I have a question....
Should I make a 3rd book where they are in collage?
Or should I make another book which is on Fabian and Nina's lives after they graduate?
