"you.. prepared this?" you stared at all the foods on the table, jaemin slowly smiled as he nodded his head "yes," he whispered
"jaemin im sorry-" "its fine, really. you're busy, i understand that," jaemin chuckled, he began to tidy the foods
"its all cold already so dont think much about it" he was about to reach the plate but you grabbed his hand and pulled it softly "i'll eat.." you said, jaemin shook his head
"no need to," he said, you slowly let jaemin's hand go "you must be full, that's okay," he assured you, "did it went well? did he confess already?" jaemin looked at you "i hope he did," he chuckled, showing you his smile
"he makes you happier," jaemin put the empty plates on the sink "jaemin-" "actually he asked-- me about your favourite color, i couldn't answer, im sorry," jaemin said as he pushed the chair
"jaemin-" "i don't know your favourite color, so i couldn't answer his question. but i do answer when he asked your favourite food, you often eat pasta so i thought it was your fav-" "na jaemin!" you grabbed his arm
"who are you talking about?" you whispered, jaemin stared at you, "hyuck.." he whispered back "he likes you, doesn't he?" jaemin softly said, "and you do too, don't you?" jaemin asked
you could feel your heart shattered into pieces when all you see inside jaemin's eyes is nothing other than pain "if i can't make you happy, at least he can" jaemin softly smiled at you, brushing your hair softly
"im sorry if you have to face this thing with me, i promise i'll pay the pain," he assured you. "they asked us to be together and we agreed, but everything comes with risks, right?" jaemin chuckled, "it's just a stupid contract anyways, i promise you that this one, shall pass too," he whispered softly
jaemin caressed your cheek softly before pulling his hand away "you should go to sleep- good night" he smiled slightly before walking away. leaving you, broken
