Half Heart Hero: Rise of Sifa [Book 2]

Character story: Seladon

A fire is like a heart to Namaari when she wants all the magic to the Fang. She wanted all the gem pieces for herself. She wanted to do this. But when the Druun awakened, the Druun started to attack the land and took away her mother. She accidentally killed Sisu when Raya lashed her sword out. She didn't mean for any of this to happen. And she knew it was her fault, she never trusted Raya. Now she was beaten down, preparing for her final moment.

Namaari: I never meant for any of this to happen.

Raya: LIAR!

Namaari clutched the dragon pendant that was given back and began to cry.

Namaari: I don't care if you believe me. Sisu did. But you didn't trust her. That's why we're here. Do whatever you want, but you're as much to blame for Sisu's death as I am.

She closed her eyes waiting for Raya's blow. But for a moment, when she looked up, Raya was gone. For a moment, she looked outside and saw everyone running away from Fang. She knew she had to get everyone out. She grabbed the gem shard and raced outside. She sprints forward and shines the gem at the Druun.

Namaari: What are you waiting for? Go!

Namaari turned toward Ko who ran over to her to give her a hug. She's so glad her younger sister is okay.

Ko: Namaari! Weren't you coming with us?

Namaari: Just go! I'll be okay!

Ko nodded her head as she was told. But then another earthquake hit. The ground on Namaari's feet shocked. Then she looked and saw Raya's friends coming toward her.

Boun: Raya!!

Tong: It's the one who slayed Sisu!

Namaari didn't see Raya about to slash her with her sword before the ground crumbled up and caused the group to call in.

Namaari, Boun, Tong and Noi got back up and saw that the Druun surrounded them. Raya was unconscious for now. Namaari held out her stone to back the Druun away. She can see that the power is fading. Boun tried to wake Raya up.

Boun: Raya! Raya! The gem's magic, it's almost gone!

Tong: They aren't backing off!

Boun: They're everywhere!

Namaari panted hard, as she tried to push the Druun back. She had to get out of here fast. Then Raya got back up to her feet after she saw the dragon pendant Namaari dropped.

Raya: Everyone, give me your gems. We can still put it together. It can still work.

Namaari thought that Raya had lost her mind.

Boun: Sisu's gone, Raya! We don't have her magic!

Raya: It's not about her magic. It's about trust.

Namaari: What?

Raya: That's why it worked. That's why we can do it, too. By doing the one thing Sisu wanted us to do. What my ba wanted us to do. To finally trust each other and fix this. But we have to come together. Please.

Tong: After what she's done?

Boun: We'll never trust her!

Raya: Then let me take the first step.

Namaari watched as Raya placed her gem in her hands. Namaari thought for a moment. Why is she giving the gemstone to her?

Boun: Raya! NO!

But Raya was already turned to stone. Namaari felt shocked after she watched Raya turn to stone. She and the others didn't know what to say. Boun then began to give the gem stone to Namaari as he went to Raya before he was turned to stone. She looked down and saw Noi trying to give the dragon gem to her. Tong picked her up, and give the gem pieces to her, and joined the rest before the Druun engulfed them.
