Trapped

Mckenna hurry! The lights are flashing and I want to go home!" Said Chloe.
"I know!! My locker isn't opening!"
"Lemme do it!"
"Now you guys got me worrying!" Coral said.
"Its fine! You guys need to calm down." Mckenna said boldly.
"Got the locker open!"
"Get your stuff, Mckenna!"
"Okay! Lets go!!" said Mckenna.

"Run! Run! RUN!" says Chloe. They are running through the halls and can't see anything because the power is out. "Oh my gosh I can't believe I didn't think of this!" Coral says. "Think of what?" Mckenna asks. "We have phones don't we?!" Coral says, "Well yeah...so..." Chloe says.

"Well we can call on them right?..." "Yeah, the power is out though, no connection." Mckenna says. "Well it doesn't hurt to try does it?" "I guess not but....wait did you hear that?" Chloe says. "Hear what?" Mckenna says. Right after she says that they hear shuffling and groaning in a classroom. "Okay, now I heard it." Mckenna said. " Run quietly and try not to make any possible noises!" Chloe says in a whispering voice. As they are running they realize they just keep running in circle. "We need to get out of here it is almost midnight and I'm starving." Coral whines. "You're right we do, and I am starving too. As well as tired. Lets split up." Chloe suggests. "Um how about lets go try the doors to see if they are open and if they aren't then we can split up." Mckenna replies. "Okay, well we are wasting time standing here talking."

"What are we going to do? The doors are locked!" says Coral. "Well we can do my idea and split up but someone is scared." complained Chloe. "No!! I am NOT splitting up.." said Coral. "You guys it 10 o'clock... I'm so tired." Mckenna said.
"Ah-Ha! Lets got to the nurses office... We can sleep on the cots and lock the door..." Chloe explained.
"Um... I mean..." Mckenna said
"Come on! We have too!"
"Plus the nurses office has a bunch of windows, maybe light?"
"Okay whatever." Mckenna said with disappointment.
