Of course, I've got to give you the disclaimers. Most of the characters and settings are created by Leigh Bardugo so all credits go to her, with the exceptions of my OCs (Korina, Andrei, Mirva, and Nessa) and my plot which is in no way canon.

There will be minor Siege and Storm spoilers but if you know who Nikolai is, then you should already know the spoiler in this fic (lol). Everything else is safe for you to read as it's a prequel. This story was written before I read Six of Crows or King of Scars so there are no spoilers / it doesn't line up with that plot.

Also, I didn't cast simply because I think it's more fun to leave the characters to your imagination! 😊
