I was in the middle of a fantastic dream about the sun shining on my face when a noise in the room awakened me. I prayed that Angie hadn't made trouble again, but the likelihood of her behaving was nil.

"Why did you clone us? Why me and my friend in there?" She pointed an accusing finger at the guards. I knew she had to be on the verge of tears because every time she was upset enough to rant and question, she was truly about to lose composure.

I raised my head and felt the room spin around me. Those awful experiments. I wanted to stand up, walk across the room and try to talk some sense into my friend, but my body was betraying me once again.

Instead I put the pillow over my head and waited for the shouting to stop. A moment later, the guard had slammed the door behind Angie and it was relatively quiet once again. Then the crying began.

"Are you ok?" I whispered as loud as my pounding head could handle.

"I will be," she answered, "as soon as I can find a way to get us out of here."
