We had packed all the stuff that we had in the hospital. Jaden went to sign us out while I put Ethan in the baby carrier and made sure he wouldn't fall out.
J: Okay babe I've signed you out are you ready to go my love?
He asks while picking up the bags.
B: Yeah i'm ready
I pick up Ethan and follow Jaden out of the room. I say goodbye and thank you to Nurse Simms as we walk past then walk out to the car.
B: Jae can I sit in the back with Ethan? I just don't want anything to happen to him...
J: Baby of course you can, But nothing will happen to him.
He cups my face and kisses me.
B: I know, I just wanna be sure...
J: Okay baby
He smiles and helps me get Ethan into the back seat. I sit beside him and Jaden gets in the front seat.
J: Y'all okay back there?.
He smiles while looking through the mirror.
B: Yeah we're good!
I smile back as he pulls out of the parking lot and starts driving home.
J: Babe?
B: Yeah?
J: Umm I know you might be a tiny bit pissed but i'm gonna need to go into work tomorrow-
B: Seriously?! Your child was litterly born two days ago! And you have to go into work?!
J: I know i'm sorry, they fucked something up and I need to go and help. I'll only be in for a few hours!
B: I don't care if it's a few hours or a whole day! I've just given birth to Ethan and I need your help! I already know we're gonna be woken up by Ethan in the middle of the night and you're gonna be pissed so i'll have to look after him! Then we're gonna wake up in the morning and i'll be tired and moody which will piss you off then were are we gonna be Jaden?!
J: That's not what's gonna happen!
B: Can we not talk about this with Ethan in the car!
J: he doesn't goddamn understand what we're saying!
B: Jae please-
J: No! I don't get why you're being so annoying about this! I'm just going into work for an hour! That's all, Just fucking stop okay?
I slowly nod my head and try and stay quiet as tears quickly form in my eyes....
