Yeonjun sat in silence, his thoughts swirling with unease. He had spent the entire day holed up in his room, skipping school, and as night fell, he hadn't ventured outside even once. His roommate had called out to him several times, but Yeonjun remained unresponsive, consumed by his worries. The words of the mysterious vampire from the other day echoed relentlessly in his mind.

"That silver-haired friend of yours is manipulating your brother."

Frustration welled up inside him, prompting him to hurl his pillow across the room. Initially, he had dismissed the vampire's assertion, but witnessing Beomgyu kiss Taehyun had shaken his confidence. Driven by suspicion, Yeonjun had followed them, hoping to uncover the truth behind the vampire's claims.

Beomgyu had always been dedicated to their missions, but ever since he met Taehyun, he seemed to have lost focus on their original objective. Yeonjun was the only one still actively searching for Sunoo and his brother, Taehyung. Beomgyu's newfound fixation on Taehyun infuriated Yeonjun. He yearned for his younger brother—the one who had been devoted to their mission and prioritized family above all else.

With a heavy sigh, Yeonjun turned to the window, where moonlight streamed through the curtains, casting a soft glow in the darkness around him.

"Kang Taehyun," he whispered, the name reverberating in his thoughts throughout the day. Did he harbor any hatred for Taehyun? No. Did he feel any affection for him? No. Yeonjun was well-known for his skepticism towards others, a sharp contrast to Beomgyu's warmth and friendliness. Together, they formed a formidable pair in Weolhwa, their royal heritage enhancing their power.

Yeonjun lay back on his mattress, staring at the ceiling as he grappled with his doubts. He wanted to believe that Taehyun wasn't manipulating Beomgyu, but the noticeable change in Beomgyu's behavior made it hard to ignore. Suddenly, a loud thud startled him, and he turned his gaze toward the window.

"Who's there?" he demanded, his voice taut with tension. He sprang to his feet, his crimson eyes scanning the area outside.

"Show yourself!" he shouted.

Heart pounding, Yeonjun approached the window and looked outside, but saw nothing. Unbeknownst to him, a figure hung upside down just above the window, wearing a mischievous grin. Before Yeonjun could react, the figure yanked him out of the building, and they both fell to the ground.

"Shit!" Yeonjun cursed as he caught sight of the figure dashing away. He took off after it, his speed unmatched, but the figure remained just out of reach. It suddenly leaped onto a rooftop, darting from building to building.

"OH COME ON! SERIOUSLY?!" Yeonjun growled, frustration boiling over. He pressed on, determined to uncover the identity of the figure and its intentions. With a powerful kick, he aimed for the figure, but it proved to be quicker and more agile. The creature vanished, only to reappear on the opposite side of the roof.

As Yeonjun neared the beach, he saw the creature slip from view. Breathing heavily, he scanned the area and spotted two figures lying together on the sand. He crept closer, hiding behind the nearby trees. The silver-haired figure immediately caught his attention.

Kang Taehyun. If Taehyun was there, then Beomgyu had to be the other figure.

Yeonjun watched as Beomgyu comforted Taehyun, who nestled closer into his embrace. Although he couldn't hear their conversation, the weight of the moment was clear. Rain began to pour, soaking Yeonjun, but he paid it no mind. He remained hidden, observing as Beomgyu took Taehyun's hand, and they started to dance together in the downpour.

A smile slowly spread across Yeonjun's face at the sight of Beomgyu's genuine happiness, a rare expression he had seldom seen. It was obvious to Yeonjun that Beomgyu was deeply in love with Taehyun. The image of them wrapped in each other's arms, oblivious to the world around them, was both beautiful and heart-wrenching for Yeonjun.

Suddenly, the same dark figure reemerged before him. Yeonjun's eyes widened in alarm as the creature grinned and rushed toward Beomgyu and Taehyun. In a panic, Yeonjun sprang from his hiding place, his nails extending, eyes glowing, and fangs bared.

Beomgyu noticed the creature but remained unaware of Yeonjun's approach. "I'm sorry," Beomgyu whispered, gently pushing Taehyun aside.

Just as Yeonjun was about to attack the creature, it vanished, and his forward momentum caused him to accidentally drive his nails deep into Beomgyu's abdomen. It started as a sharp, blinding stab, an intense searing sensation that seemed to ignite from within his core. It felt like a hot iron was being pressed into his flesh, cutting through muscle and sinew with brutal efficiency. The pain surged violently, radiating outward in waves of torment.

Beomgyu's breath caught in his throat, a choked gasp escaping as his body recoiled from the agony. The impact was jarring, causing his entire body to tense up involuntarily. He felt a cold sweat break out across his skin, his vision momentarily darkening as the shock of the injury hit him. Each heartbeat felt like a pulse of fire, throbbing painfully with every beat.

His eyes widened in horror and confusion as he looked down, seeing Yeonjun's hand partially embedded in his stomach. The sight of his brother's hand buried so deeply in him added a layer of emotional devastation to the physical pain. His mouth moved in silent agony, unable to form coherent words as the pain overwhelmed him.

The sharp, searing pain slowly morphed into a deep, relentless ache, a dull throb that settled firmly in the wound. Beomgyu's muscles tensed painfully around the injury, instinctively trying to protect it from further harm. He leaned forward, struggling to maintain his balance, each movement amplifying the torment.

"BEOMGYU HYUNG!!"
