They were currently in front of an apartment complex, the two of them wearing casual clothes with their faces covered by masks, Adrien had glasses on while Marinette had a cap on her head with her hood on

"This is the place, I can arrange the paperworks so don't worry about that"the person states looking at them as they made their way towards the elevator

"Thank you, it's our first time here so were not used to the weather"Adrien states taking a glance at Marinette

"It's no problem, besides I get a lot of tourists that rent the place for a while so it's not new to me"they stepped out of the elevator"The place is fully furnished with water and electricity"she stops in front of a door and unlocked it before opening it

Marinette made her way in while Adrien stay behind to talk to the landlord"Thank you, again"he smiled

"Here's the keys, if you have any complaints you know where to contact me"she smiled before leaving

Adrien went inside closing the door, walking to the living room he saw Marinette

"Did you pick which room you're gonna take,m'lady?"he asked leaning on the wall behind him

Marinette looks at him and shakes her head"I was hoping on waiting for you"she states and walks towards the hallway that leads to the bedrooms

He follows behind her quietly, once they reached the doors Adrien looks at the right door and stands beside it

"I'll open this"he grabbed the doorknob and looks at Marinette

Marinette nods and went towards the left door, grabbing the doorknob she nodded at him and they both opened the door at the same time

"Neat! I'll take this room, then"Adrien looks at her and she nods, stepping inside the room

"I'll see you tomorrow!"he heard her say and he smiled

"Can't wait,m'lady!"he replied back before laying on the bed

Plagg flew in front of him"So we're gonna stay here, huh?"

"We can't leave until we find the akuma and to make sure Hawkmoth isn't here"he states looking at Plagg

"It's not like once you leave this place, he won't also go back. You guys and him don't belong here"Plagg flies towards the window, Adrien sat up looking at him"It's bound to happen, and besides who knows what's happening on our world?"Plagg added phasing through the window

"Hey, Plagg!"Adrien stood up and ran towards the window

Plagg looks at him with a smirk"Relax, kid. I would leave, but it'll be hard to find you if I don't know my way around this place"

Adrien sighed in relief, Plagg phased through the window once again and landed on his hands"Now, can I sleep? I'm tired"Plagg states looking up at him

"Sure, Plagg"Adrien placed him on the pillow"Goodnight, I'll see you tomorrow"Adrien grabbed clothes from the bag that he had before going inside the bathroom

Meanwhile with Marinette, Tikki had been trying to help her find a way back, if defeating the akuma doesn't work

"Relax, Marinette. I'm sure it'll take you home once you and Cat Noir defeat the akuma"Tikki states landing in front of her

"I know, Tikki. But I'd rather be sure than not get home at all"Marinette looks at her"I don't think I can contact, Bunnix. Unless she knows we're in danger"she looks outside the window"This place isn't that bad, though. Except the part where their are heroes and villains everywhere... and everyone has powers"she added
