Chapter Two

Link had taken Zelda to an apartment building site owned by the college. Using his student ID, he opened the door like he did getting to his lecture class. The ground floor was plain, the information desk was to the left as you entered and there were lockers in rows with a slit for post. Walking through and to his own, Link used his ID to open it, pulling out some letters and closing it. Going to the elevator directly across from the entrance and stepping in, pressing some buttons to go up the floors.

Zelda soon spoke up, "So, why are we here?"

"For that upcoming project. Also to finalise your details at the college and also to find out whatever else you need." Link responded, the elevator coming to a stop and both of them stepping out, Zelda following him. Down the corridor was a door either side, Link went down to the corridor and opened the door to the right with his ID and walked in. Zelda followed in.

The apartments seemed a decent size, the first things you saw upon walking in was a living room with a two seat couch, coffee table and tv. The kitchen was small and part of the living room as it had no separate room. There was a short corridor past the kitchen with two doors and the left, past the living room mirroring the same.

"I don't have a roommate, she graduated last year so it's a free room if you do need somewhere." Link walked to the left, opening the door the end of the corridor, closing it before soon walking out with a slight change of attire. Now he was wearing sweatpants with a blue shirt that had white lining.

Zelda just stood, a little unsure on what to do or say. Settling onto the cough she was surprised how tidy the place was. Link passed her his phone while he went into the kitchen and went rooting through the cupboards.

"You might want to call Mr Bosphoramus, so he knows your here. Also ask him about your living arrangements."

Zelda nodded, opening the phone and realising it had no password. Calling her father, it rang a few times before being answered. Link listened in on what she was saying while he prepared himself some coffee.

"Hello, this is Zelda, can I speak to my father?" She went silent for a moment before continuing. "Hello father! I'm at Links apartments right now for a project we have for college, is it okay if I stay here for college? He has a spare room- No he's not like that- Dad!" Seeming like she was getting more frustrated by the second she sighed, "Dad, just bring my phone, clothes, laptop and some notebooks. Oh, uh, let me just ask." She turned to see Link staring at her with utter confusion, she smiled, "Hey whats the address for this place?"

Link blinked, "Uh, it's the college dorm building 2 and its the 5th floor up and apartment room 10. It would be best if we met up with him outside though."

Zelda nodded, relaying the information Link told her to her dad before ending the call. "He said he'll be here soon, so we should head down."

Link nodded, picking up his coffee and following Zelda to the outside to wait for her father. True to what Zelda said, he arrived fairly quickly and with what Zelda had listed alongside more. The two of them spoke, well, more like Zelda and her father having a glaring contest with Zelda being the clear victor.

"It'll be fine dad, I'm sure Link already has someone anyway!" That's when Link started to pay attention, almost choking on his coffee as he spilt some if it.

Unfortunately the old man only seemed to agreed, "True, despite his small stature he does seem like he'd be popular with the girls and boys."

At this point Links' cheeks were tainted pink with embarrassment as he cleared his throat, Zelda giggling at his demeanour, "Sir, me and Zelda have an essay to do if you don't mind."

Rhoam chuckled, nodding before handing Zelda her student ID, "You will need this, I'm sure Link has already demonstrated plenty of times how to use it right?" Zelda nodded before hugging her father, they said their goodbyes before he left. The duo returning back to the apartment.
