~ since you were the 2nd most wanted wild witch after Eda, you were put on the death sentence. petrification.

~ news spread quickly around the castle, and when hunter heard about the petrification, he came to visit you

~ "y/n..." he could hardly speak after seeing what happened to you. chains dug into your skin, practically suffocating you, and it was evident that you were hurt and hadn't gotten healed

~ they had to prepare for the petrification ceremony and advertise it, so waiting was the worst part

~ hunter hardly left your side, trying so hard to think of a way to save you

~ hell, he even tried reasoning with belos. it ended in him receiving a scar on his back

~ you weren't going to be saved, and there was nothing hunter could do.

~ on the day of the petrification, everyone in bonesborough was buzzing with anticipation

would it end like Eda's? or would they witness it get complete?

~ It started out regularly, kikimora giving a speech, your legs turning to stone first, y'know

~ things took a turn though, when hunter jumped up onto the stage and into the cell you had been jammed in

~ he couldn't imagine a life without you
he didn't want to live without you

~ He took off his mask and hood, holding you close as you both turned to stone

~ it was too late to save you, so he joined you.
