Background: She was born in South Korea, Jeonju. When she was one she moved to America, because her father worked there for some reason. And he was a rich CEO for a company we never get to know the name of. Her mother died in a plane crash when she moved to America one year after she and her little brother did. Her father was so depressed after his wife's death, that he became an alcoholic through the years and lost all his money with gambling and drinking. He became abusive and hit her brother and her when they did something wrong. He lost his company. But Emma never stopped loving herself and she found her diversion in music and singing and dancing. She became so good that her friends told her to audition for Big Hit Entertainment in 2009, she actually refused. But then her friends send a video of her singing and dancing during karaoke and send this to Big Hit Entertainment in 2013, who saw the talent in Emma directly and without consent of her father Emma moved her and her brother at age eleven to South Korea. First they lived into an abounded house, but after the Jungkook found out about Emma's living situation, his mother invited Emma and her brother to stay in their house till they debuted. Emma didn't need much training, because she was already talented on the age of ten, and till she was fifteen she had developed strong dance, sing, rap and visual talent. She didn't see her father anymore
