Chapter 5

Knowing that Nikhil was mad at her for cancelling on him, she reluctantly dragged herself to the shower to herself ready for the club that she would be going to with the Indian cricket team and her production team. On a whole, Amara wasn't a massive club person since she wasn't a fan of crowded spaces as such but she did like dancing and she had to admit that it might be nice to go out with Eda and to have some fun for once since most of her life was about work or travelling for work since she rarely actually allowed herself to have fun. Coming from a mixed background of both Turkish and Indian, Amara never liked to dress in a way that exposed too much of herself and was only really comfortable showing of her stomach or other body parts when wearing mire traditional Indian clothing or a swimsuit as she decided to go for a modest outfit to wear to the club which consisted of a midi length black slip dress paired with leather jacket and a pair of studded biker boots. After putting on the finishing touches to her red lip stick and after making sure that the hair rings in her hair were secure, she placed everything into her bag before leaving her hotel room for the night. She was already running late as she had texted Eda to go ahead with the others and that she'd just met them at the club as she decided to grab a taxi there.

" krpaya ek aur (another one, please)" Nikhil said as he downed down the rest of his bottle of beer as he ordered another one as he he looked around the club feeling down for someone who just won an important game of cricket

" saarhee ( buddy), what are you doing here? I figured you'd be celebrating alone with your juganoo" Siddharth said as he came over to the bar to see what was going on with his friend who seemed low

" that was the plan but she cancelled and said she was coming here to celebrate with the team instead" Nikhil said knowing that he was being a little dramatic over the loss of spending alone with her

" so wait, you're telling me that rather than going out with you for a romantic dinner that she decided to come here instead to party with the team? Vah ek ajeeb hau ( she is a weird one)" Siddharth said liking the way Amara kept his friend on his toes

" that she is....apparently her friend Eda who works with her is dragging here" Nikhil said taking his fresh beer bottle from the barman before turning around as if hoping to see Amara in the crowd

" and she didn't tell her about you two going out tonight?" Siddharth said wondering why Amara would chose partying with the team than spending with Nikhil as he sided with his best friend

" no, we haven't exactly had the talk about telling people yet and it's not like I've told anyone about her. I mean we agreed to have fun and that's it" Nikhil said knowing his rule book was thrown out the window with Amara

" you mean you haven't told her about your casual dating deal with the no attachment rule?" Siddharth said knowing that his friend's dating record was pathetic and that he needed to settle down with a nice woman

" no, mostly because Amara doesn't seem like that kind of woman and when I'm with her I don't want the usual relationship I usually have. With her I want more" Nikhik said knowing that thought scared him

" oh wow, look at you growing up. You know I met her today when she was watching the game" Siddharth said thinking about his conversation with Amara before the game and how she was during it

" oh yeah, what did you think of her?" Nikhil said knowing that it mattered what his friend thought of Amara as they moved through the crowd to find a table on the second floor of the club they were in

" vah bahut achchhee lagatee hai ( she seems great), way too good for you. When does she go back to Turkey?" Siddharth said wondering if his friend had thought about what happened after that
