Night of the comet

Elena's Pov

I wake up the next day I didn't go to the bonfire last night mostly because I wanted to avoid Stefan because I found out he's a vampire I head to the bathroom get and than go downstairs to get breakfast I see Jenna on the couch watching tv I walk into the kitchen and make some coffee for myself than I see Selena come down the stairs in her pj's I hate to admit it but she has style the door knocks and Selena goes to answer it she's than face to face with Caroline and Bonnie they have a huge smile on there face, Selena invites them in when I hear Caroline compliment "Cute jammie's I'm so borrowing those" than she laughs I notice that there getting along really well there supposed to be being mean to her I've had enough I push Selena out of the way and start talking to the girls they look at me un-amused help Selena up, Jenna catches what I did and I guess that pissed her off because she started yelling at me saying "Elena Gilbert why the hell did you just do that all Selena was doing was talking to Caroline and Bonnie and you push her down the hell apologise to her or you are grounded!" Yeah Jenna isn't happy with me so I reply "Than I guess I'm grounded I mean why do you stick up for her she's a brat" Jenna's face is turning red because of how angry she is I bet any moment now smoke will start coming out of her ears but she calms down when Selena kisses her cheek and says "Its alright Aunt Jenna" I look over to Caroline and Bonnie to see them giving me the death stare are they friends with Selena?  Ugh they better not be I see Jeremy pick up an apple so I ask him "Jer what are you doing with that apple I thought you hated apples" than he replies "Oh yeah I do hate apples" I throws the apple in the air and catches it before throwing it right at my face with force so hard I fell down Jeremy starts laughing his ass off because of how hard I fell I look over to Caroline, Bonnie and Selena and see them trying to hold in there laugh I then look over to Jenna who just says "Jeremy upstairs now!" than I hear Jeremy reply "Alright thanks he says as he goes up the stairs he stops than winks" "Wait!" Jenna says "You have school so get down hear now" Jeremy sighs and comes back downstairs Jeremy sits on the couch and watches tv and Selena goes back upstairs and changes she comes back downstairs in a light blue Nike shirt with some shorts and her black backpack

Selena's Pov 

I'm walking into English class with Caroline and Bonnie, Bonnie apologised to me and told me why she was awful to me yes it was because of Elena god she is awful as we are walking down the hall trying to get to English class Stefan walks over to us and we all start chatting for a while we walk into English class but I stop walking when I see a man he's very familiar he see's me and smiles at me I smile back and than go to my seat I think he's our new English teacher after were all settled in he introduces himself  "Hello class my name is Elijah Mikealson but in the name of respect you will call me Mister Mikealson or for short term Mister.M now today's assignment I would like all of you to write an essay introducing yourself and somethings you like to do I would like to know where your family is from or if you were born here in Mystic Falls" He says as he's handing out an laptop to everyone "We have a printer in our classroom it is hooked up and ready to go so after you finish typing your essay I want you to proof read it to yourself and than print it out and hand it in to me after that you may leave and go on with your day. you will have 1 hour to complete this assignment and your time starts now" everyone opens there laptops and starts writing there essays some people found it hard but me I loved this assignment I love reading and writing so that's why English class is my favourite class ever 

20 minutes passed 

I already typed 2 pages of my essay but I notice ever so often our teacher would smile at me I also notice Stefan would tense up every time he smiled at me huh that's weird the door opens and than closes I look up and I see Elena walk in she walks to her seat when our teacher stops her "Miss Gilbert care to explain why you are late to my class?" Elena doesn't say anything she just stands there embarrassing herself even more "I am waiting for an answer Miss Gilbert" that's when Elena finally decided to speak up and say sorry I had a breakdown in the bathroom because my parents died I roll my eyes at Elena's attempt to get our teacher to feel bad for her I mean our parents dying is sad but she always uses it as an excuse to get out of things "Miss Gilbert I truly am sorry for your loss but that is no excuse using your parents death as an excuse is terrible it truly is you may have a seat I would like you to write an essay about yourself and things you like there is 40 minutes left use your time wisely once your finish print out your essay and hand it in to me do you understand? Elena nods her head "Do you understand Miss Gilbert? he says again "I understand" she says before she starts getting to work 

40 minutes later 

Class is over everyone please hand in your work and make sure your name is on it I hand in my work and than exit the classroom

Selena's Pov I go home and get ready to see the comet I change into a brownish shirt with some blue jeans and black sneakers than head out 

I arrive where the comet is and I start talking with Tyler,Matt,Caroline,Bonnie than Stefan and Elena join us and we all keep chatting I turn around and see our English teacher he notices me looking at him and he smiles and me something about him makes me smile as well so of course I smile back after he turns around I just keep looking at him because he just looks so familiar 

"Selena? Selena! Caroline calls, I snap out of my gaze to notice the group staring at me  "Why were you staring at our teacher?" Stefan asks  "Sorry he's just really familiar, Please we live in Mystic Falls everyone's familiar here Tyler says playfully rolling his eyes at me. Shut up Ty Matt says playfully punching him I sigh I leave the group and walk around I stop and just look up at the comet for a while when Stefan walks up behind you and whispers into your ear "Hi" leaving shivers down your spine you guys stand in silence for a while but its peaceful silence until he says something again "You know the comet had been travelling across space for thousands of years all alone" "Yeah Bonnie says its a harpender of evil" you say with a small laugh Stefan decides to speak up again and says "I think its just a ball of ice and snow trapped in a path it can't escape and once every 145 years it gets to come home" You turn around to face him "Like you?" Stefan looks down than back up at you "Yeah what uh what about you since you know your a Vampire? he says quietly so nobody will hear but you to "I leave every couple of years as well you say"  Matt walks up to you guys panicking and says "Hey have you guys seen Vicky anywhere?" You and Stefan both reply no at the same time in sync chuckle but than get serious again "She's missing?" You ask "Yeah can you guys help me find her? Matt says with a worried expression on his face "We'll help you find her you say" Elena walks over to you guys panicking and rambling on about how worried she is about Vicky and Stefan's trying to calm her down when I finally have an idea on where Vicky might be so I yell "Shut up! I can hear Vicky" Stefan looks and you and tries to see if he can hear her and he does while Elena is just standing there not hearing Vicky at all, "I know where she is lets go" Stefan says you and Stefan start walking off when Elena says "What about me!? and why is Selena going?" I turn around to face Elena and say "If your coming come we don't have a lot of time" Elena runs up to us "Hold on to my hand" I say and they do we get there so fast none of us blinking I speed over to some guy and push him off of Vicky he tries to speed back over to Vicky but I put a barrier spell with a ring of fire around it to trap him I than walk over to Vicky and compel her to forget everything that happened and to go straight home and she does "Selena?" Elena says as she walks up closer to me I put out the fire and Stefan snaps the man's neck when I ask "Do you know him?" Stefan looks down than back up at me and says "Yeah he's uh my brother" I raise an eyebrow at him causing him to chuckle "Selena! H-how did you do that the speed and the jump and the fire? Elena asks panicking with tears coming down her eyes "I forgot you were here dammit" Selena? what are you? Stefan asks I look down "I'll explain everything tomorrow I say "Sister- I mean uh Selena" Elijah says "Sister!?" I say almost yelling Selena Elijah says again as he takes my hands in his "There's something I need to tell you" He says...
