Chapter 80 - Finishing stanza

You watch as 2012 Loki went ahead and walked to the platform used to perform the time heist. Holding a suitcase which held the stones. He'd have the responsibility to bring them back.

He didn't need to feel fear anymore. Thanos was gone, really gone this time. He didn't need to run anymore nor hide, he was free.

Your present Loki felt relieved to be able to intertwine his hands with yours again. Hours of cleaning up the mess and announcing freedom left everyone tired. Excited to finally rest.

"Ready, Loki?" Bruce asks, being replied by a nod from him, "Alright, in three..two..one,"

Loki was minimized and sent into the quantum realm, it gave a smile to your face that he decided to do this. Hopefully not deciding to betray.

"And three..two..one," Bruce counts once again, bringing back his helmet. You went forward to take it and spot a tiny note within it, "What is it?"

It ended with a small smiley-face on the end and it brought a grin to your face. A yelp escaping your lips when Tony snatched it away.

"God, why is he so sweet all of the sudden?" Tony asks with exasperation in his tone, chuckling lowly.

"He was always sweet," You retort, taking back the note and keeping it safe inside your pockets.

"Not what I experienced back then," Tony shrugged, making you smile as he ruffled your hair.

Steve cleared his throat as he stood beside Natasha. Making heads whip over to him. Natasha and Steve's face close to each other.

"I think it's a good time to confess, Steve," Bucky nudges, a short snicker escaping from Sam.

"And you too, Nat," Wanda smirks, who stood beside an eating Pietro. He seemed to be hungry from all of that chaos.

Nat and Steve sighed, "So.." They both start simultaneously, "You go first," The team laughed at their awkwardness.

Steve cleared his throat once again and you felt Loki's arms snatch your waist, "I've been meaning to tell you this.." Steve muttered.

"I like you," Both of them said at the same time, blushing furiously the two did. "Since when?"

Tony groaned, "God, just kiss already!"

And with that, they ended their awkwardness by crashing their lips on one another.

"How about we have some time together, aswell?" Loki whispered to your ear, making you nod as he lead you to somewhere private.

Around you were the rest of your team happily chatting. It made your heart swell
to see them enjoying their time.

"Again, I'm so, very sorry for letting you go that easily," He rambled, holding both your hands in his, "I shouldn't have done it and I'm immensely sorry, I-"

You interrupted him by capturing his lips with yours, making him hum in contentment. His hands moving to your neck, caressing it softly.

"You didn't let me finish my apology," He breathlessly started once again, making you roll your eyes playfully.

"Do I have to kiss you again to shut you up?" You ask.

"Mm, it's a good idea, please do," He grins, flushing your body to his chest as you shared another heartfelt kiss.

Thor giggles as he chased the boy around the logs. Buying a Cabin by a forest was the best idea you had.

Gamora leans on the space ship as he watch Quill show the other child his tapes.

"Narfi, Vali!" Loki shouts, making the twins run over to him, "Come and take a drink," He encourages, making you smile in adoration, "You too, my love," Loki kisses your cheek.

"I just drank," You replied, making him nod and lead the children over to the table.

"You guys are sickenly sweet," Gamora spoke up, walking towards you, "Planning to make another one? You should name it..Mora- or maybe Neb,"

You giggled at her ideas whilst Nebula shakes her head, "I don't think she plans another child," Nebula says.

"I think those two troublemakers are enough chaos," You grinned.

"Gamora, we have to go!" Quill calls making her smile sadly to you, "Trouble through the galaxy again! And also we want to check out Westview!"

"I'll see you next time, Y/n," Gamora pats your shoulder, walking away whilst Nebula gave you a nod in acknowledgement.

You watch as the space ship starts getting farther and farther away, waving until it was out of your sight.

You jumped slightly as you felt arms wrap around your waist, "Hello, darling," Loki greets, kissing your shoulder.

"The twins?" You ask.

"They're eating they're favorites- very messy, might I add," He sets his chin on top of your head.

"You know.." You start, "Traveling the universe I really didn't expect to get all this," He hums in response, "I'm glad I betrayed the company."

He chuckles at your statement, "I'm glad you did too."
