"That cannot be your actual name, right?" In a single moment of disbelief, I allow myself to laugh at the boy standing in front of me. He is just a year younger than me, but three inches taller. His frame is thin, but his cheeks are abnormally large and rosy. His hair is a collision of various colors, golden brown and nearly black.

He stared down at the cracked ground, fiddling with his wand. "Billitrix Dingus is my name. Though most people call me Billy." His voice is hopeful and he even allows a smile.

"Billy Dingus. Oh my, how much better!" Billy's face doesn't change. He smiles even more at the comment, barreling forward. The sun is high in the sky, blinding us against the sand and rubble of the rotting city.

Billy talks incessantly, but I grip my wand without paying attention. The city is eerily quiet, causing a jolt of fear to sizzle inside of my body. "Which kind of makes sense, I will admit, because why would anyone want to buy a bag with ants chewing at-"

"Billy, shut up." A sound, nearly like footsteps echoes. Its a quiet sound. I almost miss the sound, but I catch it again.

Despite my warning, Billy continues. "There are nicer ways to phrase that, really, li-" I twist around, waving my wand in his face. His dark eyes get wide and he clamps his mouth shut. The noise gets louder, as if it is coming from all directions. Without warning, a flash of light barrels towards us, red hot and electric. I smash Billy to the ground, saving us from the explosion. He cries out in pain, but I ignore him.

Alda steps out from behind the shadow of a building and I laugh. "I didn't think you had the nerve to face me again. You're truly an idiot." She raises her wand towards me, and I do the same. We stand like that for a while before Billy does something I wouldn't expect. "There are two of us!" He shouts toughly. "You can't hurt us."

"I am defending myself!" She yells back and I roll my eyes. She waves her wand in my direction. "She- she is insane." Anger flashes in me and I dart forward, ready to attack. I stop only a few feet in front of her, when I notice something odd. I flick my eyes away from the two boots hoping Alda hasn't noticed it. Keeping my wand raised, I slip passed her.

I don't want to stun her again, but she keeps her fear. It makes me want to do something much worse. Checking to ensure Billy is beside me, I point to the boot. Alda's eyes get wide when she realizes what exactly it is. She scrambles forward. "Run!" I scream at him, ripping at Alda's hair to keep her back.

She sticks her foot out, causing me to stumble. I don't fall, but she darts passed me. Billy looks back, unsure of what to do. Scrambling for my wand, I point it at Alda. There are absolutely no regrets in my voice as I scream,"Sectumsempra!" She slows down, turning towards me. We are both still, and my heart drops as I assume I have failed the spell.

Without warning, blood forms on her shirt. "No." She whispers, and I smile as her clothes become blood soaked. Even her face begins to turn red. Her body shakes, and she sobs. Unable to linger any longer, I push past her.

"You- you killed her." Billy states, his eyes wide.

I scoft. "Hardly. She will be fine." Another champion races toward a boot and I shove Billy forward. I point my wand at Eric, yelling "Stupefy!" I watch his figure drop as he was surprised by the spell. "Go!"

Looking back at Alda's bleeding figure, I am able to smile without Billy noticing. "I won't stop. I am only playing this game so you can't win." She keeps shaking, but I only smile.

Bitch.
