A night after adventuring and conquering the two companions slept in their bed.

Xiao heard rustling and soft panting.
His eyes fluttered open, sitting up to look around the room.
To his left was Aether moaning in what Xiao perceived as pain.

Quickly jumping up, Xiao hesitantly reached out his hand. Shaking the traveler lightly.
Aether didn't wake up, except his breathing quickened. Panting louder and chest rising and falling from his deep breaths.

The Adeptus wanted Aether's suffering to end, therefore he closed his eyes and feasted on the boy's dream.

The taste was sweet, something similar to the emergency food's favorite candy. Which was called chocolate, it made Xiao shiver at the taste.

"What an odd dream."
Xiao mumbled.

Xiao walked out to see Aether lying his head on the table.
"Why..."
The boy mumbled.

The Adeptus walked over and shook the boy. "Traveler are you of good health?"
Aether looked up, his eyes close to tears.

"It's stupid."
Aether muttered, turning his head to face the other way.
"It must not be stupid if you seem upset."

I thought I had removed the nightmare,
Xiao thought.

"Well I guess it doesn't matter since we're together anyway-"
Aether's voice trailed off.

"Traveler I didn't know!"
Aether was clinging to Xiao's leg as the Adeptus tried to escape from the needy boy's grasp.

"NO! NOW YOU OWE ME! FOLLOW ME TO BED!"
Aether whined, hugging Xiao's leg.
"Traveler I have work!"

"WORK ON MAKING ME HAPPY SINCE YOU ATE THE DELICIOUS DREAM!"

"Y-you"

The two stop, looking towards the hallway. In the doorway emerged the two's emergency food, hand gripping the door tightly.
Her eyes gazed upon the sight, expression blank.
"If Paimon hears bed creaking Paimon will LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK!"
