JOHN B ROUTLEDGE ALWAYS HELD A SPECIAL PLACE IN BROOKLYN'S HEART. From a young age he always told her that he would be with her no matter how far they were, kinda cheesy for two six years olds but it stuck. Brooklyn lived by those words and while he was gone, presumed dead, she had those simple words in her mind at all times.

Standing here, her heart beating loud enough for her ears to ring, her throat was dry and she was still trying to catch her breath from running.

However, all those problems were suddenly washed away when she and the Pogues skidded out of the alleyway to find John B and Sarah. It was almost like a miracle, it was almost too good to be true because how in the world were all six of them there at the exact same time? How does that even happen?

Brooklyn's eyes landed on her brother, the guy she loves most in this godforsaken world. He looked almost the exact same expect for his face appeared more tanned and his hair was a giant ball of mess. She still couldn't keep her eyes off him in case she was dreaming and he would suddenly disappear at any given moment.

However, they had to cut back to reality for a second because some guy with a gun was chasing three of them and some pissed off rich guy was chasing the other two. Funny how they can still make people angry without even trying.

When she heard his voice, she knew this was real, "Get in! Get in! Get in! Come on!"

Brooklyn and Kiara sat down next to Sarah while the two boys pushed the back of this shitty cart to get them going. "Pedal faster, John B!"

"Go, John B! Go!" They all peered behind them to see three guys all coming to a stop, knowing that they couldn't catch them.

"Come on, Pope! Push! Come on!"

Brooklyn turned to Sarah and instantly wrapped her arms around her. "Oh, my God. Y-You're here." Brooklyn pulled back from the girl, cupping both of her cheeks before pulling her back in for a hug. "Hi! I've missed you. Oh, my God!"

"Hi!" Sarah smiled over at Kiara over Brooklyn's shoulder. "Hi! It's great to see you both."

John B continued to pedal and the boys carried on pushing. Kiara joined in on the hug and the three of them stayed glued to each other, not even wanting to pull away from the moment for a second. Brooklyn loved her girls, loved Kiara and Sarah almost as much as she loved the boys. Her best friends were all together once again.

"I'm pedalling."

"Oh, man!" Pope groaned, his body aching from having to run and push something so heavy at the same time.
