This chapter was meh, but hopefully the next one will be much better. I didn't reread so prepare for spelling mistakes

Jean's feet hit the ground as Anemo slowed her fall.

"If I follow Diluc's information, I should be able to take out at least one or two Abyss Mages... I think." She said to herself, kinda winging it. Ever since she got the name Dandelion Knight, she just wanted to work as her. This way, she could protect the city even more, like Diluc does.

"Alright, there's usually a lot of fights here. I bet there'll be an Abyss Mage any second." Jean said to herself once more. She stood at the corner of a house staring down the side gate of the wall. Nothing was happening.

"Weird. Where else is there usually a battle..." She began thinking. Suddenly—

"What are you doing?" Someone asked. Jean squealed as she quickly turned around.

"What— D-Diluc?" She asked, flustered. Diluc was standing close to her. Close enough to hear his breath.

"What are you doing I asked." He replied. Jean sighed.

"Well, I assumed— I mean knew Abyss Mages were going to be here." Jean said, trying to sound impressive.

"Abyss Mages?" Diluc asked. Jean nodded. Diluc sighed.

"Those are Abyss Mages." He said, pointing at the direction of the gate. A few treasure hoarders quickly threw on Merchant disguises.

"Eh, close enough." Jean replied. Diluc suddenly ran past her and took out two of the treasure hoarders.

"T-The Darknight!?" One of them shouted. Two more were suddenly blown back by anemo.

"That was easy enough." Jean said. Diluc pulled out a rope.

"Gather them up." He said. Jean helped Diluc drag the unconscious bodies together. Diluc tied them in a bundle.

"Let's go hang them upside down on the statue." He said.

"What!? No!" Jean replied.

"I'm kidding. Take them back." Diluc replied. Jean pouted.

"I want to help out too! Don't give me cleaning duty again." She said. Diluc sighed.

"You can help out when you know how to disguise yourself." He replied.

"Is this not enough? You don't even wear anything else." Jean said in response.

"Cause I wear all black. Your pants are entirely white. They're easily seen." Diluc replied. Jean squinted her eyes as she stared at him.

"Alright, go get to work." Diluc said, running off. Jean sighed.

"How many times do I have to clean up after you?" She asked. As she quickly took them to the HQ, Diluc took in a few Abyss Mages near the Whispering Woods right outside of Mondstadt. Luckily for him, it was two Cryo and one Hydro. Unluckily for him, it was that combo. Freeze would be an issue.

"Look who showed up!" One of the Abyss Mages laughed. Diluc was quick to attack before a bubble appeared in front of him. He quickly evaded left and attacked a Cryo Mage. Icicles dropped on him but the flame from his sword was intense enough o kept both the icicles and the shield. Diluc backed up at the weakened Cryo Abyss Mage was covered by the other two. One of the Abyss Mages started speaking a different language, facing Diluc.

"This may take a while— seriously?" He asked himself. He watched as Jean jumped in from a nearby brush to finish the weakened Mage. The Hydro Mage turned, hearing her. This gave Diluc the opportunity to break the other Cryo Mage's shield. Diluc smacked it like a baseball as the Mage went flying into a nearby tree. The Hydro Abyss Mage attacked Jean, who dodged. Diluc then landed a few hits in as Jean came in to finish the shield.
