A few days went by and since then Hana started to miss Jeno more and more. The two hadn't talked to one another in days.
As Hana overlooked preparations for a morning brunch with the royal family, she decided that today would be the day to speak with Jeno.

Once she saw preparations were finished, Hana went up to her room to get ready. She slipped into an elegant, yet simple floral dress, and decorated her neck and ears with jewelry.

Hana made her way to the patio where they were having brunch and on her way she crossed paths with Jaehyun.

"Why, my lady, you look absolutely gorgeous!" He said dramatically, bowing.

Hana bowed as well, playing along with Jaehyun's act. "Thank you, kind sir. I am on my way to brunch with the royal family."

"You know the royal family?" He gasped. "May I escort you to sneak a close look at them?" He extended his arm out.

"Why of course," she laughed, hooking her arm with his.

Hana and Jaehyun made their way, laughing and chatting with one another since they had been busy with their own schedules for the past week. As the two arrived outside they spotted Haneul, their mother, and Jeno already together and conversing.

More specifically, Jeno and Haneul conversing whilst their mother sat in her seat, sipping tea and enjoying the scenery.

Jeno noticed Hana and Jaehyun walk in, his eyes landing on the girl. He stared at their interlinked arms, a sting of jealousy piercing his heart. Jeno teared his eyes away, putting his focus back on Haneul and pretended to listen to whatever she had to say.

Hana saw Jeno and immediately pulled her arm to her side making Jaehyun laugh.

"I'll see you later," he respectfully said, nodding his head to the previous Queen and leaving Hana with her family.

"You finally came."

Hana looked at her mother. "Yes, I was changing. My apologies, did I keep you all waiting?"

"Oh, no. I was just getting tired of Haneul blabber on about nonsense to Jeno," she chuckled. "Jeno! Haneul. Please come join us so we can start brunch."

Jeno took a seat across their mother while Haneul sat next to him. As Hana was about to sit next to her mother, her mother raised a hand and stopped her.

"What are you doing? You should be sitting next to your husband." The former queen looked at Haneul. "Haneul, what are you doing over there? Get over here!"

Embarrassed, Haneul immediately got up. "Ah, right. My apologies."

As the two sisters switched seats, Haneul glared at Hana. If looks could kill, Hana would be six feet under and Haneul would be Queen.

The four began to eat and converse with one another, updating each other about their lives and what they have been up to.

Hana reached for the sugar cubes the same time Jeno did, their hands brushing each other's and sending electrifying shocks. They both looked at each in shock. Jeno smiled and handed her the sugar to use first. She grabbed it, thanking him.

Although Hana planned to talked to Jeno today, she couldn't help but feel like a nervous wreck around him; especially after the incident in the library.

Jeno couldn't help but wonder why it felt like Hana was avoiding him. All he knew was that the urge to talk to her again was growing bigger by each second and he felt like he was about to burst. But he couldn't. Not with Haneul around at least.
