#17 || Just the two of us

~TW: BLOOD AND DEAD BODIES~

The sun was setting, the birds are chirping.

Two lovers sat on a hill. (Y/N) starts sketching on their sketchbook as the sun was at a perfect angle.

Hunter watched them work, fascinated with the lines and mistakes they made on the paper. As they reached over to grab the eraser, their hand brushed against his.

They both blushed and chuckled. They've been dating for a year and yet still feel flustered when their hands touch.

They finish the sketch and held it up to compare the drawn sunset to the real one. Hunter kisses their neck then rests his head on their shoulder, looking at the sketch.

"Its perfect" he said. They smiled down at him and kissed his forehead. They put down the sketchbook on the floor and watched the sunset.

"Ever just wonder what it would be like for us if we stayed like this?" They asked.

"It would be heaven, just having you by my side is the best thing I could ask for" he replied. They sigh in relaxation as they felt him lift his head up.

"Due to the wars with the rebellion and the Emperor's coven, I'd kill for a peaceful life, just the two of us.." he nuzzled into their neck as they giggled.

"Yeah, too bad we have to deal with it.. I worry when we go out and fight"

He nods and sighed, leaning back.

"Me too"

The two remained comfortably silent for a few minutes. He looks at them and gently grabbed their chin, turning their head to face him.

"Promise to stay by my side?"

"I promise"

They look at the battlefield, fallen soldiers from both sides everywhere. Blood splattered everywhere as the bodies layed limp.

They walk towards the figure that stood in the middle of it all. He turns around with a smile, opening his arms in a welcoming manner.

"(Y/N)!" Hunter exclaimed.

"I killed the Emperor and the leader of the rebellion! Aren't you proud?"

They stayed silent as they stared at him. They sigh and walked closer. His smile falters as they got closer.

They lean in near his face and pouted.

"You got blood on your cloak, it's hard to wash it you know?"

He chuckles and kissed their cheek, leaving a red bloody kiss mark.

"Sorry.."

They shook their head and smiled, taking his hand in theirs and guiding the other to their waist.

"What do we do now?"

He hums and thinks, an idea pops in his head and grinned widely.

"We take over and rule the boiling isles! Start a new life, just the two of us~"

The sun began to rise, they smiled fondly at him and kissed him, he kisses back and pulls away.

They both swayed side to side, doing a small slow dance.

"We made it, my love"

He chuckled and gave their neck a gentle kiss. He then whispered into their ear and said "Bonesborough is down, n
