Jesse pov

Its been a week since i moved to this small town i like the school its nice the teachers the students everyone is nice

Me and Milo are good friends now her friends are nice to me so thats good but.....Milo isn't happy yes she smiles laughs like all the time! But she-she just isn't happy

I can read people like an open book because before coming here i was a very loud and the 'happy boy' as everyone called me....if only they knew i was not happy at all far from it actually

I lost my mother in a car accident and my little sister i was the only one who survived the crash and because of that i was sucked into a dark hole

My father was always on the run from the cops so i never saw him no one knows he is my dad and i like to keep it that way...but i do have my brother though he is always annoying but he is the only one i have left so we stick together like glue but since he is older now he doesn't go to school so he decided to get a job in a company a big one but we had to move over here

I was happy about it at least i wouldn't have to fake smile all the time at this school since no one will know me or know my story

Since the accident happened and having to fake smile all the time i could just read people i knew of they were faking happiness or not it was like a big sign was pointing at them reading 'fake happiness!!' Thats what it feel like its just so easy for me to see it because I went through the same thing

But Milo she's different sometimes its a sincere smile but thats rarely though ive studied her now the way her eyes light up when its time to play volleyball in gym or when its lunch she really loves her food

But she is so skinny though maybe fast metabolism? Milo has really perfected her smile to make it look real it took me a day or two to start catching on

"Milo..." i said out loud

"Yah jesse get down here and eat!" My brother shouted for me

I rolled my eyes and got out of bed "okay!"

The two clad boys were sat at the table eating silently

"So hows your job?" The younger Clad asked

"Um yeah its great thanks how about school?" Mark clad asked his younger brother

"Yeah its alright i- um never mind" he stuttered

"Is Something up?" Jesse just shakes his head "no"

The rest of the dinner was silent they are a bit awkward as you can see

"I met a girl"

Jesse started choking on his rice "you what!!?" He screamed while spitting rice in his brothers face

"Okay ew! And yes her name is Jennie" he said dreamily while wiping his face with a napkin "she is one year younger then me and she is so cute she has a really sexy body-!"

Jesse throws his chicken at him "ew you perverted creep!!" He shouted while showing a disgust face

"Oh shut up dont think i dont see you watching porn!" Mark barked back jesse was about to throw anther chicken at him but the door bell cut him off

"Ill get it" Mark stood up and went to the door. Once he opened the door he saw a girl jesse age wearing an oversized jumper with jeans and a black mask with a black bucket hat "um hello?" Mark asked while looking behind her to see a tall buff guy in a black suit hands crossed behind his back

"Oh so sorry to interrupt but im here to drop of Jesse book he left it at school and he needs it for homework" the mystery girl smiled sheepishly flicking her short hair behind her ears

"O-oh yeah ill go get him" Max stumbled over to the dining room to get Jesse "um some chick it waiting for you at the front got your book or somet?" Jesse was quick to the door

"Um Milo!?" Jesse asked shocked she was here

"Hehe sorry but I didn't want you to get in trouble so i brought your book for you" Milo smiled at him handing him his book 'its that smile again' he thought to himself

He grabbed it from her hands "t-thanks but how did you find me"

"Um well your brother works for my dad's company so i asked my friend Jennie she knows everyone like everyone so i told her your name and she told me she actually said your brother and her are good friends am i rabbling on again?" She looked away with embarrassment

Jesse shakes his head "no no not at all but thank you for this" he pointed to his book Milo just nodded with a smile "well then goodbye Jesse!" She walked away her black hair swaying with the wind "goodbye Milo" he whispered

Jesse at that moment promised  to make her mask fall and for her fake smiles to turn into real ones he will make sure of it!

"Hey Jesse you nerd come eat your dinner i have to tell you more about Jennie!" Mark shouted Jesse rolled his eyes with a sigh "okay okay im coming!"
